Speaker 1

Friend of the podcast Irvine has been going quite well. He is going to battle the bridge and he is going. Sydney Swans. He is floating the the normal thing that he does the dollar fifty line. He has been quite good to us. So the dollar fifty line for Sydney is NAG 5 1/2.

Speaker 2

Siren sounds on a convincing Sydney wing, 27 points over their crosstown rivals.

Speaker 1

One of the other friends of. The pocket I cannot. Remember who it was exactly. They gave out Essendon, so obviously Essendon $1.50 line and neck 25 1/2.

Speaker 3

About to roll the bomber pants, the bullet. As highs have been for decades. Brad Scott, his second season as a.

Speaker 4

Coach.

Speaker 3

Punch has something took.

Speaker 1

It, friend of the podcast, stars throughout a tip for me and I was actually aligned with this tip, so we're going to Flemington Race 3, #5. This horse is called Cray.

Speaker 5

Looked in control, but only. Apparently rise at Dawn's giving him a race. Craig's in front. He's gonna be a little bit too strong for the last 50. It's not flashy, but. We'll get the cash.

Speaker 7

Gold Coast off the bar, Gold Coast travel Frio, and it's three goals.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I'm here. I'm hearing you. I'm hearing you.

Speaker 6

The.

Speaker 7

He goes over here. I'm with you. But they were.

Speaker 1

Freo kick like two goals and a half last week.

Speaker 7

But they were off the.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 7

So off the bike, travelling three goal different.

Speaker 9

For Big Lake. Put under the part by their coach. Jason. He's a big response from his team. As the dock is just back up into the top eight with a 20 point win over the Sun. Sorry.

Speaker 10

Speak for this.

Speaker 1

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the channel. My name is Jesus. I'm here with Brownie, and this is your front centre podcast, your home. I've been betting sports and band since 2023. How are you, Scott? I think you're a bit better because bed long had a very bad shot at goal.

Speaker 7

I'm good. We got up. We did it. I'm. A lot better than you. I was very nerve wracking but.

Speaker 1

I was having out of body experiences at the football, so you can imagine the state that I was in by that stage which will get to a bit later. And I was sitting there going 40 seconds to go. If Ben Long kicks this goal.

Speaker 7

We'll get to it. We'll get. To in a second real.

Speaker 1

Brownies cost the pyramid again.

Speaker 7

It's very, very nervous.

Speaker 1

And he missed and we had a win so.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Safe to say, I didn't know where my six, six month old son was for the last 45 seconds. I was stuck on the TV, but it was a big weekend for you. You had your 400 and there was. We got it was great because we got down to the club, got to see you. You got up, you kicked a couple of goals, which was great. Got to see. Meet some friends of the podcast who are down. We basically have.

Speaker 1

Ohh yeah yeah. Got a few snags, yeah. Yep.

Speaker 7

Had a mini kind of podcast party which was great and they were disappointed because they needed you to say one phrase while you're up.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

There, I said to them all, if you get up there and say it's not about me, it's about the club and you got up there and said it's not about me, it's about everyone else and I no, that doesn't come in. You didn't say the word and they weren't happy about that, but also just a few little notes that I took as I sat there and watched.

Speaker

Hmm.

Speaker 9

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Ohh of course. Well, when I was unconscious for half the night that I'm sure you took plenty of notes.

Speaker 7

So. You tried to make. This is actually probably more of a team play that you try to mark the ball on the goal line and completely. Missed it but.

Speaker 1

That was about 20 metres out, but.

Speaker 7

Good job, because I feel like you actually just left it because then it just dribbled through for a goal, so well done. Also, I someone asked me milk. I asked me if I'm gonna cheer you off. And Cos said he wanted to pull you off so he cost said I'll pull him off after the game. Well, Michael.

Speaker 1

Yeah. OK. That might be the. I'm not sure how much state I would have been in for. That anyway, but.

Speaker 7

Hey, this guy, he would not.

Speaker 1

Apparently he was in pretty good form as well.

Speaker 7

He was. So that happened. Congratulations. Had you 400? Congratulations to the beach one.

Speaker 1

Ah, thanks.

Speaker 7

We'll get to the state that you're in in a second just before we get to something else. What is it so 2?

Speaker 1

Yeah, it wasn't good. State of origin two side sad state of origin so I'm not sure if you watched last night. It was another game that was over in like 20 seconds or it was about 20 minutes. NSW went absolutely ballistic after getting blown off the pitch after the send off 34 nil at half time. Yeah at the G 90,000 people at the G on a Wednesday.

Speaker 7

OK. Yeah. OK.

Speaker 1

Watching it. And they smoked at Mitchell Moses. Latrell Mitchell. Angus Crichton just went off, so we've got a live final which went from two shift games to an absolute ball terror. And and it's gonna be really, really interesting because it's gone and one smash job to another smash job and it's now it's looked pretty average series is really starting to have a bit of a crescendo at the, you know, I was trying to remember that. Stadium. It wasn't Toowoomba so, but that's where they going for game three. Yeah, the 1800.

Speaker 7

The one 806 five. Yeah. What?

Speaker 1

Alright. Was on that one.

Speaker 7

Good, good recap there. We're gonna get to the fully recap, so yes.

Speaker 11

But it's one.

Speaker 1

More I wanna bring today. I didn't write it down because it hadn't happened yet. Alexander. Sarr picked 2 to the Wizards.

Speaker 7

Yes, was one. I was wondering if you were gonna. Yes.

Speaker 1

Yeah, obviously I didn't. I didn't know. You know where he went. And AJ Johnson went to the box. So I think pick 23 off the top. Of my head so. 22 French guys went one and two and if they went the next year or the year before, they're projected to go like outside the 10, so lean draught.

Speaker 7

And no bronnie James no first round.

Speaker 1

You know Ronnie James will be late second round. They're saying and you know, people are saying Celtics just take him so then it would be funny.

Speaker 7

That would be funny. Funny. So we'll get. We're just gonna we will do a little round 15 recap in a second, but we got a man sitting. Yeah, we love to have friends on the podcast here. He's awesome. He's he's.

Speaker 1

Sometimes we do when they break your furniture, you're not so happy to have him here.

Speaker

Movie.

Speaker 7

When he he asked for no Q&A, but I know you've got, I think one or two for him but and that make probably makes him even more nervous. So you've got about 45 seconds to compose yourself, but we'll introduce him, right.

Speaker 1

I got a couple.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 1

And we got. What? He asked for an intro. I think we've done a good one here, so.

Speaker 6

In the world of podcasting, the people are represented by separate yet equally important groups. The hosts who deliver each and every week, and the friends of the podcasts that can help those hosts get out of gaol. These are their stories. So let's welcome our next guest. To the front and the Centre podcast. Here's a West Coast Eagles tragic some may even call him the legal eagle. And the perennial fantasy sports ran, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 7

No, they are locked on something.

Speaker 6

Sorry, sorry, that's.

Speaker 1

How did you find that, Paul? Welcome to front and.

Speaker 12

Centre pod. Thank you. Yeah, that was that was that was good. I'm a big suits fan. So yeah, it was good to to.

Speaker 7

Welcome, Paul. Those song I wanted to make it a. Bit longer. Listen to that. Also a fellow North Beach footballer I wanted to add that in there played with Novak on the weekend as well, so down there, how many games played almost 250.

Speaker 1

Good to see you back out.

Speaker 12

Coming up to 250, yeah, trying to get my official games, but don't know. So a couple off.

Speaker 7

Morning.

Speaker 12

I think, yeah.

Speaker 7

OK. Well, Novak as Paul would know, because he listens to every episode.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 7

You're our question, man. So take him away. Take.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I just got a couple, so obviously.

Speaker 12

It away I'm expecting it.

Speaker 1

We said it's not. Nah, we said fantasy sport. Tragic and obviously we love our fantasy sports and obviously you might be one of the only humans that's ever won a league and then had to pay the money back because there was a stat update. Please discuss.

Speaker 12

Yeah. Ohh that's a painful one. It was an NFL fantasy league and we play with IDP's, which are defenders. So, so not a team, but individual defenders where there's usually a little bit more adjust.

Speaker 1

Not teams, just individuals.

Speaker 7

OK.

Speaker 12

Seeing often after the fact where they add tackles, add half tackles, that sort of thing. I versed friend of the podcast train in the Grand final who.

Speaker 1

Yep.

Speaker 12

Who quite literally beats me every time I play him in any final finally got one up on him. Just got over the line, got a congratulatory email from ESPN. The league, commissioner Baz, really good, transferred the money straight away and then couple of days later, someone noticed scores updated and I'd gone backwards.

Speaker 13

And so I.

Speaker 9

He.

Speaker 12

Lost by a couple of points. There was a bit of bit of debate about whether I'd won or not. I tried to argue the point that that had already got the congratulatory.

Speaker 7

Past the posts or the situation, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 12

Email from ESPN. But we went back on the platform and it officially had crowned him the winner. So not even not even a lawyer could argue that one. So I had to transfer the money back, which was, yeah.

Speaker 7

That actually.

Speaker 8

A very significant.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Not that's painful.

Speaker 12

Fun.

Speaker 1

And I think one of the better stories that obviously go. You are the sole reason why Gerry McGovern ended up at Fat camp disgust.

Speaker 7

He had that he had that in the first one. He was ready to go with that one.

Speaker 12

Maybe not quite the sole reason, but.

Speaker 10

Well, that's the well you told me, but.

Speaker 12

I my my my family have hosted, we don't anymore, but we've hosted a number of of Eagles rookies at our House and and Jess was actually the first one we had very.

Speaker 1

It kind of went downhill from there, didn't it?

Speaker 12

Success story but. He had probably only moved out a couple. Of. Months prior and this was the year that Wosha left the Eagles. Simo came in and it was my birthday on early November. Not long before they they they kind of go back for for pre season before Christmas. Jazz came over for my birthday. He'd been at the club that day, he said. He was running laps. He was the only one there running laps, you know, came up to him and was was he made a good impression because he was the only one there. Running proceeded to then have four or five beers with me and extra servings of ice cream cake, and the next week was sent away to individual.

Speaker 10

Training because it wasn't.

Speaker 12

Good enough. So yeah, I don't know. I think I probably encouraged him to. Have a few. More visits. Yeah, I should have that night.

Speaker 1

Probably so who else did the family have off top my head? I think you had Tom Lamb, Hamish brace or maybe.

Speaker 12

Tom Lamb and Brayden answer.

Speaker 1

For Ian Ainsworth, so obviously didn't quite hit the heights of Gov. So, but I mean, you get your experience. Did your any of your North Beach won premiership success run off on these blokes?

Speaker 12

Although he was, he won't run before me. No, all all good kids and and good to. Good to have them and definitely a a different experience just seeing how the the absolute professionals train will will jazz eventually. But you know the the other boy Jazz was a bit different cuz he came in the system really late. He was like the last pick in his rookie.

Speaker 10

That's true.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it's true. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 12

Craft was basically studying to be or not studying. It was an apprentice Sparky. Whereas Tom and Braden had kind of come through knowing they were gonna be in the NFL, they they had like this real professional mindset from.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Day one didn't really work out too well for. Him did it. Didn't know.

Speaker 7

Yeah.

Speaker 12

And then look at Jazz he's had had.

Speaker 1

Yeah, he's absolute gum.

Speaker 12

The career of. The lifetime so.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Cool. Well, that was just a couple of. Good anecdotes for Paul, so.

Speaker 7

Good. I like that. I do like that. That's devastating about about your fantasy. That's that's very good.

Speaker 10

It's a terrific story, isn't it? Ohh yeah, two absolute rippers.

Speaker

Very, very good.

Speaker 12

I've I've had many, many grand final losses I don't even know what the win loss.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 1

It'll be about 12:50.

Speaker 10

Wouldn't it? Or maybe?

Speaker 12

One win for every 10 losses? Yeah, probably. And it's usually the same two culprits that beat me every year, so.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Well, he's an avid West Coast fan and we'll get to that game very shortly, but let's really, really quickly recap this Carlton, Geelong Friday night. Carlton got up quite comfortably against the old timers, the cats.

Speaker 1

Yeah, Cripper Cripper went huge 41 touches.

Speaker 7

Yeah. And then port lost to Brisbane actually got pantsed, so credit to you that was the one we actually disagreed on for.

Speaker 1

Yeah, the lawns are back. Went different.

Speaker 7

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Lucky Neil. Do not let him off the chain.

Speaker 7

JW Sydney, Sydney again just got the job. Done. Very good.

Speaker 2

Yeah, it's it.

Speaker 1

Well, it's Gordon went bonkers. And Grundy, as we were just talking about pre pod, has gone to an area where he has been allowed to thrive. Not the Max score backup so.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Now I don't know whether you remember this Melbourne, North Melbourne. We're at the Footy Club and we're watching.

Speaker 1

Yeah, no, not don't remember much.

Speaker 12

Good finish. Good finish more came hard.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Outrageous. And they're another chance to knock off another. On and then that rolls into Sunday where we were we were actually very it's a nervous Sunday, to be honest with you. Thank you, Dyson Heppel for kicking that final goal. But your.

Speaker 1

It was.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Your boys put up a.

Speaker 6

Bit of a fight, Paul the.

Speaker 1

No, but surely you put someone on the package every time I looked up the package, just had the footy.

Speaker 12

Yeah, look, that's that's the function of all our games. There's usually one guy that just gets a bit off the chain, but it was nice to see, you know that forward line kind of come together, I think.

Speaker 1

Yeah. You went really tall, so you had Hutchison. Merrick, since those boy, Bailey, Jay darling, Alan and Waterman like, it's madness.

Speaker 12

Yeah, I think I think they'll persist with the Flynn, Bailey Jay maybe for one or two more weeks. Yeah, I think Bailey Jay's in a bit of trouble because I think Merrick moved up the ground. He played on the wing and and the blank and that was really good. I I think he's almost West Coast best kick. He's really well.

Speaker 1

Bailey Jack has to go.

Speaker 10

Yeah.

Speaker 1

He looked OK. Yeah, and he's gotta deliver more than, like, Chester and a few others that had plenty of time out there. He's he's definitely getting there. But man alive, he shouldn't. Yeah.

Speaker 12

Chest is getting. There, Chester showed a bit. He showed there it's it's. A slow burn.

Speaker 7

Bring that jumper yet?

Speaker 1

Yeah, and you're. Putting Liam Ryan in the guts for something new, which? Is interesting.

Speaker 12

Ryan was in there. Brockman was in there.

Speaker 1

Yeah, some speed, which the midfield doesn't have so.

Speaker 9

Trying a bit.

Speaker 12

That'll probably change this week.

Speaker 8

I.

Speaker 1

Cause yeah, I know the old guards back.

Speaker 7

Feel like this conversation's already started for later in the podcast when we get to the the game and then Freo got the job done for us as well. Another nerve wracking game. Thank you Ben Wong, as you said.

Speaker 12

Oh boy. Eagles by how much? Yeah.

Speaker 1

I'm young. Went all time. Water stud. Man like huge.

Speaker 7

And a big a big, big injury to Freo in that game, which I'm sure we'll get to very shortly.

Speaker 1

Yeah, Alex Pierce.

Speaker 7

So you've had a big weekend? Yep.

Speaker 1

Just look one thing Hugh Davis played like the whole game and you got zero fantasy points.

Speaker 7

How's that possible? Just turnovers and stuff.

Speaker 1

He had he had, he had he. He had one handball and one tackle for six points and two frees against. So that's.

Speaker 12

Was on. He was on. And, you know, he was on that. He was on 6 probably 2 minutes into the game and from there he gave away 2 threes and didn't touch. Yeah, he's a key defender. He actually played a pretty good.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Ohh yeah, God outright. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we've gotta move on. I you've had a big weekend. I didn't go hard with the seven deadly tins. So if you're.

Speaker 12

Game from what I heard.

Speaker 1

Big, big weekends. An understatement.

Speaker 7

Waiting on. That again, there's a lot more to come about that later on, which I think people will be shocked to hear what happened.

Speaker 10

Well, if once they.

Speaker 1

Hear about how much I've had to drink through no fault of my own. Yeah, that people will understand.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Hey, I'm just glad I left when I did. Anyway, I got you a pretty a pretty mellow one this week and let's let's crack her open slowly.

Speaker 9

Alright.

Speaker 1

Let's give this product to.

Speaker 11

Spell this I.

Speaker 1

Know. So I did catch up with Jesus.

Speaker 8

Oh no, **** me. Ohh.

Speaker 6

Ohh my God.

Speaker 10

Why every time?

Speaker 8

****.

Speaker 7

So what have we got?

Speaker 1

Alright, so we've got a new one. We haven't had one of these before. Finlay's Brewing Co and this is a merchiston hazy pale. Yeah, they're picture on the can. It says brewed in beachside paradise Cowberry WI. And it's like a an off the beaten track Rd with like some rock rock face there a bit of shrubbery. Yeah. And it's in a silvery sort of can. And it says the mighty Murchison River is the second longest river in WA, where the river floods and large amount of hazy coloured water burst out of the river mouth and into the Indian Ocean. Our hazy is bursting with citrus and tropical fruits, no fruit and canned Finlays Brewing Co 13.

Speaker 12

Alright.

Speaker 1

Maggie Crescent, Cowberry, WI that has to be the river. Yeah, you'd. You'd think so. But I looked here and saw the like it went silver at the end and.

Speaker 6

That's the worst.

Speaker 1

You'd think that is the river, but.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 7

That's funny. Tropical fruits are 5.8% are 1.5 standard. I just looked at the percentage and I was like this. This will help know that. I don't think it will be.

Speaker 14

Hey, guys.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Yeah, I neither. No. Let's let's see how this. Goes. Nice village that time.

Speaker 11

Is this is this?

Speaker 12

The first beer since the weekend.

Speaker 1

Yeah, of course. I I had enough. I don't need any more. I still don't need any now. Alright, let's give this a crack.

Speaker 7

It's not overly fruity, not massively.

Speaker 8

No. Oh.

Speaker 1

It's not great though.

Speaker 7

Paul's he's looking at the board. He's looking at the board.

Speaker 1

Let's go. Let's go. Go.

Speaker 12

I'm not a huge hazy.

Speaker 1

Haze some of the hazies are good though. There's no way it's better than the sloth, hazy, so that brings it down.

Speaker 7

10% off.

Speaker 1

The the dose of Hinckley it's better than the wrath, though. Yeah, the wrath was not good. Is it better than hot atmosphere? I think so. So maybe we'll go 4.5 about on par with the killers and the magic juice.

Speaker 7

Four point. Paul, where are you? Putting it.

Speaker 1

Yeah. What do you think, Paul?

Speaker 12

I think about a five. Yeah, I I think the first sip because it was in contrast to my other beer, it hit and then I've had another.

Speaker 7

4.5.

Speaker 1

Yeah, that's why I try to just not have a beer beforehand because it does.

Speaker 12

Sip and like.

Speaker 1

Contaminate the pallet, Scott.

Speaker 7

Yeah, I I take that as a pallet cleanser. The little mid strengths, the sidetracks.

Speaker 1

You just take it as. I need a beer and come at me.

Speaker 7

Yep. I. Hey, I I take it as I'm not at home, so I'm having a beer.

Speaker 1

Yeah, well, you can probably drink for me this weekend, cause I've had enough.

Speaker 7

If I have to, that's something I'm willing to sacrifice my body for.

Speaker 1

Yeah, you are in peak physical condition right now, so looking fantastic.

Speaker 7

Now that OK. I know this is your favourite segment we're about to get to, Paul. So you will sit back, close your eyes, relax, do whatever you need to do. Take a moment, because this is going to get real.

Speaker 1

Cover your ears.

Speaker

Question. Open up.

Speaker 10

Know what you think.

Speaker 7

Now I just want everyone at home to know I played this before we started and I was like, Yep, cool. The pianos are working. No pianos. It really, really annoys me when I have it.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Seeing it live is a thing of.

Speaker 13

Beauty, though? No, it's definitely.

Speaker 7

Alright, thank you. That's right.

Speaker 12

Not I'm I'm like sensor though. So I listen to the pod on like 1.7. So so.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Seeing that like it really so.

Speaker 7

Shout out to senso for delivering that because I don't. I didn't do that. But then when he mentioned that if you listened to us at 1.5 speed give you a hot tip, it's a bit better. Well, it's a bit faster so.

Speaker 1

Shout out to sense even about the only bloke that didn't come watch me play 400 games. No. Yeah, I've heard a bit, but.

Speaker 7

Did you? Did you hear what? He said if it was 500. Yeah. Classic sense. Yeah.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Yeah. Slimy. Yeah. So he did cough a fair bit over the group text of every. So. But Stan. Sense behaviour, so I wouldn't expect anything more.

Speaker 7

So this way.

Speaker 1

What do you got?

Speaker 7

What's your last? Meal your final meal. You can have a.

Speaker 10

Ohh I thought the one I just had.

Speaker 7

Three. Course no. So that's what you want. Is your last meal. You can have three courses if you want. The on death row, you're dead tomorrow. You need a last meal. Last meal.

Speaker 10

Was some chicken sushi?

Speaker 1

OK.

Speaker 8

Well, if I'm on death row.

Speaker 1

If I'm on death row. Where am I? Because there's, yeah. But so you're saying I can have any cuisine anywhere. Shipping from like. So if I want a Curry, I can ship them.

Speaker 7

In prison. Oh, yeah, yeah. Anything. Yep. Yep, Yep.

Speaker 1

From India to or?

Speaker 12

I reckon like is it. Is it like you can pick the chef to cook.

Speaker 7

Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Yeah. Whatever. Yeah, whatever you want.

Speaker 12

Like so, the top quality of. Your meal. Because if you say a pizza and it's like a frozen. Pizza. Yeah, that's.

Speaker 7

No, no, no. Like if you want a pizza from Italy, it's coming, OK, Italy.

Speaker 1

I reckon I'd probably want a decent like I feel it a really good steak, a really good quality with some like good quality sauce, a bit of mixture of peppercorn and garlic. Some sides probably want to, or maybe.

Speaker 7

I'll meet you there.

Speaker 1

I could go. Something a bit unique and get a bit of. Maybe a really good like bit of garlic bread, a bit of a bit of Mashed potato.

Speaker 7

I'm a fruits man like, not chips, but like salty fruits. And I'm with you. A big thick steak.

Speaker 11

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Yeah. And then Skywalker, get me a Skywalker.

Speaker 7

Just so here's what I would do. Just I would just go unlimited alcohol like so just keep feeding me red wine, so I basically don't wake up the next day and then I'm done.

Speaker 1

Skywalker. Yeah. And then when you get zapped, you're going to absolutely make a mess.

Speaker 10

Of the joint, I wonder if.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Yeah. So so you can basically.

Speaker 12

These rules about that.

Speaker 7

Unlimited skywalkers. I don't think they're allowed to give you alcohol dessert. You having dessert?

Speaker 12

You're just not. Out of.

Speaker 1

Yeah. And I'm sure within limits like. It depends. It depends because. Desserts. Good. But maybe I want another steak.

Speaker 6

Just want.

Speaker 1

I think I'd right. Yeah. Have a steak for because I like a good steak.

Speaker 7

Paul.

Speaker 12

Yes, steaks pretty good, but what's probably coming to mind is again, This is why I asked how high quality is it? Like a really good bowl of ramen.

Speaker 14

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah. OK.

Speaker 12

Like proper not. I'm not talking like. Yeah. Like it's like an actual bowl with, like, the egg and the pork and.

Speaker 7

OK. Yeah, right.

Speaker 8

Hmm.

Speaker 12

I'd have to have some dessert of some sort. I I love watermelon so.

Speaker 7

Yeah, where we young. Are you, are you? You want water? You're about to like, go to the chair and.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 10

I probably I.

Speaker 7

You're picking watermelon.

Speaker 1

Reckon I'd need a tequila as well. A really good top notch tequila just to wash it down.

Speaker 7

You do. You are tequila.

Speaker 1

Yeah, a really good one. Like we're talking top notch.

Speaker 7

Like, like Terra Matlow, the rock stuff.

Speaker 1

The rock now. Then we go. Better than that. We go right up the top shelf.

Speaker 7

To me, that's high quality and now while you're here about you ohh.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 10

What?

Speaker 7

I'm entree prawns with garlic, lemon and chilli right and then I'm having a.

Speaker 1

You're you're gonna be Tooting. You're gonna be. You're not gonna. Then you will die by your guts exploding from all this.

Speaker 7

I don't care. Yeah. I would rather do that than a big fat steak crispy top, like not bent, but the medium rare crispy top. Fritz, Salty Fritz, and then dessert is a warm chocolate pudding and ice cream just drinking red. Just sit down. That is one I don't eat steak, though. Yeah, I don't. I don't eat steak.

Speaker 1

Sounds like a normal Saturday night for you.

Speaker 12

Good, good memories.

Speaker 1

Just sorted out my weekend. Let's go.

Speaker 7

That's exactly right. Good. And while you're here. Because we gotta get everyone's opinion. I know we've talked about this. Yeah, off pod, but we need everyone's opinion on pod. Are you on the great or you off the great?

Speaker 1

On the record.

Speaker 12

I think I'm. It depends, and that's a that's a lawyer answer. So. So if if, if no one's around, I'm probably on the great. But if there's other people around.

Speaker 7

So that. So that's what. I am I.

Speaker 1

Literally say it depends just about every question he comes with.

Speaker 12

I do fear the splashback and off the.

Speaker 14

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Great Splash Zone is a huge thing.

Speaker 12

But if if there's no risk of splash zone.

Speaker 7

Yeah. So if you do walk, but if you do walk in and there's one person down one end on there and one person off it down the other end, and you have to go the middle where you know.

Speaker 12

And. Can just.

Speaker 7

You know there's no splash.

Speaker 13

Off off.

Speaker 7

Sign off, yeah.

Speaker 1

I think to be fair, the state I was in, I wouldn't. Have been on the ground. I would have been in.

Speaker 7

We went inside.

Speaker 11

The year now.

Speaker 10

I would have been in the really, yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah, Ben would have been passed out in it, but hey, good.

Speaker 12

There's not that many greats these days like you. Most places are usually like individual.

Speaker 7

No, there's not. It's just a campfire.

Speaker 12

Yeah.

Speaker 7

The Canfield just terrifies me. I just it.

Speaker 1

Just off the grid mine.

Speaker 4

Yeah, it's not go inside.

Speaker 12

Plenty of toilets just go use. The toilet, if you're that's.

Speaker 1

Go to the why don't you go to the one out in the back that doesn't have a grade at all?

Speaker 7

I didn't know those one at the back.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Behind the bar out the back on the left.

Speaker 7

So that might be where I have to.

Speaker 1

Ohh my Lord.

Speaker 7

Go. Alright, so I don't.

Speaker 10

Well, how many times have you been there?

Speaker 12

Know ohh, that's the only one I go to.

Speaker 7

I don't know where that is. Yes, and go to chocolate.

Speaker 12

Don't eat chocolate. Much lint. Very dark.

Speaker 10

Right.

Speaker 1

Yay, yay. See, got a got a fellow dark chocolate lover.

Speaker 7

Yeah, he's not cherry raw socket A.

Speaker 1

Yeah, but you.

Speaker 9

Just a little man.

Speaker 12

Bit of a a health thing. Don't eat chocolate much.

Speaker 7

OK, fair enough. Fair enough. We move on because something happened here that well, the spirit of the game really came to bite us in the ****. Maybe. I'm not sure, I don't know.

Speaker 1

Did it though. We were just too **** anyway.

Speaker 7

I I'm just saying stuff because I haven't. Been watching it? Yeah.

Speaker 14

Yes.

Speaker 10

Strike.

Speaker 3

Again, Ohh, there she goes. That's a 12.

Speaker 10

Patrick soco.

Speaker 1

So the Super the Super eights have come and gone and the Australians are obviously been knocked out a very much.

Speaker 7

Funny. Well.

Speaker 1

Self confidence by a lot of the Australians and as we said last week, David Warner set us on a path for disaster, so he has ridden off into the sunset and have you ever seen a more lacklustre finish to an international career? For someone that has got such a good record as David Warner? Outrageous. So. That's what happens when you make **** about yourself and you deserve to go in the bin.

Speaker 7

You should have finished up here in Australia.

Speaker 1

Exactly right. And yeah, it is what it is. So the best teams came to the fore. South Africa went through the Super eights undefeated. They are into the final. I'll get to that in a SEC. India also went through undefeated. So England who after.

Speaker 7

Yeah, silly boy.

Speaker 1

The so called spirit of the game just snuck in over the United States, so by 10 wickets so.

Speaker 13

Sorry, that was.

Speaker 10

It. An.

Speaker 13

My God.

Speaker 1

Easy, easy. Win for them there. Obviously. Afghanistan knocked us off. We played terrible that game. India took care of Bangladesh, the Windies got over the top of the USA. South Africa knocked off England in a really good match. So we had South Africa and India. Undefeated. Then you had Afghanistan and England getting through on two wins. So in an absolute abomination today, an absolute abomination. If that shows you how good we're going, Afghanistan versus South Africa bowled out 56.

Speaker 7

Wow.

Speaker 1

South Africa one. 6060 offer 8.5 overs 1 by 9 wickets for 67 bolts per so.

Speaker 12

Wow. They're in the final, yeah.

Speaker 1

South Africa to the final, India are playing England tonight at 10:30 to see who goes into the final. You would assume India, South Africa there. That's two best teams. I think South Africa and the knock can knock them off. They're playing really, really good. They got a really good balance. But Rohit Sharma, if he comes out and plays like it against us, we'll get to what happened a bit.

Speaker 7

Is Temba Bavuma still playing?

Speaker 13

He is. He is, but he's.

Speaker 7

So I'll throw her name in.

Speaker 1

Not he hasn't really been a team. Mac, Mac Rams the the captain, but.

Speaker

OK.

Speaker 1

Got like all. The bowlers really bowl some heat and I've got some really big hitters so.

Speaker 7

Is continuing his son still ripping them down? Yeah.

Speaker 1

Yeah, they got robata. They've got noki and there's another one, yanson. So some really good bowling.

Speaker 12

Yeah, it's, yeah, it's it's good boy.

Speaker 1

He's really tall. Yeah. And they've got some boys who can who can really hit and that's what's been doing there, doing the job for them.

Speaker 12

Do they have the sub rule in this World Cup?

Speaker 1

They do, yeah. So obviously scoring, yeah.

Speaker 12

It's been.

Speaker 7

What's the suburbs?

Speaker 12

Cause so so they introduced it in the Indian Premier League this year where basically you can do a tactical sub of a player. So a lot of teams took that as like they went for it a lot harder, because if you lose a a wicket or two early, you just sub one of your your crappy bowlers out and bring another batch. So they bat real deep and like we're seeing like 25260.

Speaker 7

That was it. Yeah, well.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Yeah, that's.

Speaker 12

School.

Speaker 1

But I mean, David Millard decock, they've still got the really big. Big guns there so. They the **** maybe cost can pull me off.

Speaker 10

My name is Cosmo. Ohh no.

Speaker

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Love that. OK. Yeah, yeah. That's that's what would happen. That's exactly.

Speaker

What would happen?

Speaker 12

That's two, that's two.

Speaker 8

Ohh no.

Speaker 7

And then so after that. The cricket goes. Quiet for a while after this does it till summer.

Speaker 1

It well obviously till the summer. So but yeah, we'll get to it a bit a bit later, but there's some people under the. Microscope.

Speaker

It's cricket.

Speaker 7

Olympics. There was talk about it wasn't there.

Speaker 1

I don't think so.

Speaker 7

Good question, no question.

Speaker 1

Three on three bball it's break dancing is skateboarding. Is I'll Google. It I don't think cricket is.

Speaker 7

Yeah, soccer is just shout out to the 444444 or just shout out to.

Speaker 1

4/4 all about. Football. That's probably how many shots I had on the weekend.

Speaker 7

Them. About the EUR I work out.

Speaker 12

Cricket confirmed for 2028 makes.

Speaker 7

OK, I'll wake up. I'll look up and watch the EUR game I didn't like. Jack woke me up at 4:00 in the morning. I watched a EUR game.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

No old draw. Yeah, fun Tom.

Speaker 1

Tim's tips favourite star?

Speaker 7

Tips, yeah.

Speaker 12

Well, well, England have a very good run at that. Like all of the good teams, all of the good teams are on the other side of the draw. They've got a pretty good run to the final.

Speaker 7

That was the game I watched. Just as said, if you want to.

Speaker 12

So I look forward to. Them bottling it because.

Speaker 7

Maybe you should go listen to 444 or about.

Speaker 16

Of that.

Speaker 13

Football hog. So that's OK and obviously not happy.

Speaker 12

Not that interested in it.

Speaker 7

We got nine guys of football to go through. Let's go.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker

No.

Speaker 3

Out of this world is gone.

Speaker 7

Alright, starts on Friday night. Lions, demons hit me.

Speaker 1

Yeah, so big game here. Huge ends. So Dara Joyce is in Will Ashcroft in straight off the Rico. No scratchy, no twos, no nothing. Straight in. He must be flying out. Goes Jack Payne injured. And our boys Shadow brain been omitted. I mean, you can't really compete when Ashcroft is coming in. Four did Melbourne.

Speaker 6

Interesting.

Speaker 7

09.

Speaker 1

Hugin for them, Jake Lever is back. Taj. Why? Why, why, why him and excuse me, debutant. And I'm gonna go with Nunez Wakefield.

Speaker 13

Yep.

Speaker 1

What a name. Yeah, it's a good one. Out goes Salem, injured again. Can't get at it. Can't get a run at it. Has been looking good, playing midfield kind and brown black house on minted. So look, the lions. They're sort of like me. They're the second coming of my punting. Has come good recently and the lines are going very, very well. They've just strengthened their midfield with Will Ashcroft. But they are flying. They bat really, really deep. Their forward line is functioning fantastic. Joe. Danny. Her he's going all time. He's in all time. Form. He's playing up the ground. We called for it. I reckon we called for it last year. Get him in the game, play him around the ball, get him running. Get the juices flowing and he's playing fantastic. Obviously, Logan Morris coming in as the third tall and that makeshift forward line where they've lost a few players down there.

Speaker 7

Don't let it out.

Speaker 1

It's working really well for them, but the key is they've got a tagger who can get a stack of the football and Jared Berry is dominating people. So the Melbourne midfield does not run that deep at the minute and there is one man who is not in great form that I think is going to be for a long, long night cause Clayton Oliver look out. Barry is coming, yeah.

Speaker 12

I like the look of Trent rivers in the middle for.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I think, well, well, I like Salem in there. He looked good. But you're right, Trent. If they've got Vinny Oliver rivers, like who else goes through there? Neil, Bull and Chandler Sparrow. Yeah, like it doesn't bat that deep. And I still don't like petty in the forward line. The forward line is not functioning that fantastic, like.

Speaker 12

The days but.

Speaker 1

They've got some young kids like, good the getting games into Van Roy and good the getting games in the soul strip. Good. The getting games into Windsor, but you know, may and lever it, leave it back obviously strengthens that back line up again, gives some structure because their back line has been leaking.

Speaker 12

What's? What's a bit scary is that one of the one of the things the lines are still a bit weak at like they've they've been going pretty well lately is their effective clearances. And I've read a stat that was like last year. Will Ashcroft was leading them for effective clearances, was almost like top five in the league, I think. So they're they're about to.

Speaker 7

And now, yeah.

Speaker 12

Go to another gear. With him.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Wow. So, Bailey, Rainer, they're gonna be on the outs now that Ashcroft is in. You're gonna go Neil Dunkley, mccluggage Berry. And it's like just back step in their back. One solid, obviously pain out hurts them a little bit, but. It'd be interesting to see what Melbourne do. Probably Neil Bullen probably goes to Zorko, you'd think. Try and quell some of his influence. That's gonna be interesting to see. Like the key forwards? Petty just needs to go back in the back line like they're. Breadth of the key forward to do something like that's gonna be one of the biggest mysteries. Two first round picks for forward that gets 2 touches a game one. Come on man.

Speaker 7

But it's it's going to be, I think it'll be a closer game then expected only because Jake leave is back and they struck her up so much better. Yeah. Inside 50 count is ridiculous in favour of Brie. But I don't know you. Just you just watch Brisbane and they're starting to come good at the right time as you said. And Melbourne are just as you said as well. They just know where with especially losing the track. It hurts so much so.

Speaker 1

On many levels, like when he was basically the most disruptive forward and the best inside mids. So.

Speaker 9

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Max coins wouldn't hit out, but yeah, where's it going?

Speaker 1

Well, you can tell Oliver no pre season for Oliver's starting to sort of bite. Him a little bit.

Speaker 12

It's got a few passengers like you. You look at every Melbourne game approaching half time. Of fridge or pedi or van ruin or whatever has like one touch to their name like they just have guys that just do not. Get the footy, yeah.

Speaker 1

Disco Turner disco Turner.

Speaker 7

Yep, just go. All right, good. We all. We're all gone busy here.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah, heavily in Brisbane fibre.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Alright and now we move on to Saturday morning, Saturday morning. No, wait.

Speaker 1

Ah. We we go to Saturday.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Saturday morning, 11:45 Western our time. Yeah. Kangaroos, western Bulldogs.

Speaker 1

What is going on here?

Speaker 7

By the way, the odds which I don't know whether you said last game, Brisbane dollar fourteen and Melbourne 550 and then we go to Marvel Stadium, North Melbourne. Kangaroos are playing the.

Speaker 1

Yes, sorry.

Speaker 7

Western Bulldogs.

Speaker 1

Just that game is not coming up on my screen.

Speaker 7

Oh boy, is the Sydney fair game.

Speaker 1

No, no. Here I go. I've got. It's just out of order for.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Some strength.

Speaker 12

There there's two at 11:45.

Speaker 1

Yeah, there's some strange reason it's out of order. Alright so. The big out that came today, much to my chagrin George Wardlow concussion at training so Clarko has obviously been doing something. Yeah. And obviously he's out, Callan, Dawson ends. That's a huge out for mine in for the side is getting very, very tall. Aaron Norton is back. Oscar Baker, Sam Darcy is back.

Speaker 7

Stop going too hard.

Speaker 1

Out goes Booker Karmas Caleb Daniel and Anthony Scott, so. We're looking at a forward line of Hugo Hagan, Norton. Darcy lob. It's pretty big with Cody Whiteman, Riley West. It's very large. They've O'donnell's been playing up there as well. You assume you going to the back line, but for north, they're quite tall as well. So they've been bring tickle the mid season draught pick has come in. He's helping Tristan cherry out. But the souvlaki, he's got a bit of it the last few weeks and they've still got their bigs in the back line. So Charlie Comma's been playing quite well. Toby Pink is down there. Aiden core is down there. Gryphon log not too far away but. This midfield just takes a really bit of a hit with Wardlow out when you're going up against Traylor liver, McRae, Bond, Richards, who have all been flying, you know Sanders and Gallagher have been going through there as well.

Speaker 7

Has bond been confirmed? He has OK.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah, as he's in. But whether he's laid out or not, who knows? But when you're looking at north right now, they've got udle, who's going? Awesome. But then you've got Simkin, who's had one good game against West Coast, Darcy Tucker, Bailey Scott, Liam Shields, like. Will Phillips like Will Phillips, goes to the bond, you'd think, and maybe it's up again at half time, so who knows? But yeah, you look at the sides and on paper you're thinking Bulldogs.

Speaker 7

Just, just as they're coming.

Speaker 1

But the way North Melbourne been playing recently, they knocked off West Coast, drew with Collingwood. They just lost to Melbourne. I think they're going.

Speaker 7

They they lost to Collingwood. Yeah, lost time.

Speaker 12

They didn't draw. They lost five points.

Speaker 1

That's right, my bad.

Speaker 7

We needed to win by 29 more points.

Speaker 1

Yeah, a lot. A lot. You see how that form is compared to where Bulldogs are on the ladder. And it really, really shapes up. But.

Speaker 12

Well, that game last week like he had six touches, no goals and they almost pipped Melbourne. So so Zaha had a really, really good game. But I think in the in the last few years if Lucky doesn't kick four or five, they've not gotten near it so.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Yeah. So they found. They found other. Ways to score.

Speaker 12

That's yeah, they got close with him having getting towed up.

Speaker 7

Yep.

Speaker 1

The thing with Bulldogs? Which Bulldogs turns up? Are they going to get bevelled? But if Bulldogs bring that Fremantle mentality the way they played that game, you think Bulldogs? How far? But I think N are going a bit better than they are on the ladder. I think they're midfield group that they've got. He's somehow doing things I don't know how. Yeah, because they should have been beaten by West Coast midfield. They should have been beaten by Collingwood midfield. They should have been beaten by N midfield and they've stood up. So yeah, so I think Cherry has a lot to do with that. So yeah, if they're, if they're not massive in the back line, but if they can get a lot of run behind the footy, you know Harry Sheeza.

Speaker 7

Keep judging.

Speaker 1

Can go off. I think it'll really help. Obviously no Wardlaw, no Mckercher. They're still missing a lot of players. I think it's going to be. Closer than what people think.

Speaker 7

Yeah, I agreed. Because you look at their last few games and that they played against each other and the dogs have won by like considerable margin in 23 and 22 like 58 and 68. But the dogs, sorry, they let N still score eleven goals. Was in 20/22/13, goals in 2023 and 50 and another 13, so they let them score. If they can shut them down somehow some way and just bring the gap in. I think the dogs can still win, but I'm with you, I don't think.

Speaker 11

And obviously at.

Speaker 7

It's going to be.

Speaker 1

At the Dome as well, which helps so.

Speaker 7

Yeah, I mean, it could be.

Speaker 12

I think the Wardlaw, it's just too big. It's it's been the hardest song, hard and soul for the last few.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it's really got me. I know it really got me. I was like, he's been.

Speaker 7

Is that me?

Speaker 1

What is happening here?

Speaker 7

I don't know what it is. I don't know what time it.

Speaker 12

Is it what is? Is it the AFL lap or something?

Speaker 7

Ohh yeah, don't worry you guys can. No you guys can.

Speaker 10

Oh, my Lord. What?

Speaker 7

Hear it? Nobody else can.

Speaker 10

Is happening.

Speaker 7

Sorry for everybody, I.

Speaker 10

Doo Doo Doo Doo.

Speaker 7

On that I have a website and something started applying for everyone. Time you guys wouldn't have heard it. I thought I was coming on my phone.

Speaker 1

Ohh dear, another amateur pod this Paul, this is what happens every week. Brownie does ****. No one knows what's happening.

Speaker 7

Don't worry. Anyway, so we're all. We're all on the we're all on the dogs and then also also at 11:45 is Sydney are playing Fremantle.

Speaker 12

He's trying. He's.

Speaker 1

Fremantle. So yeah, no change for the Swans. So there's a lot of blokes who can't get in so Robbie Fox can't get in. Roberts can't get in. Francis can't get in elite areas for the Sydney Swans at the moment, getting in some rare air and it doesn't get better for free air out goes Alex Pierce with a fractured forearm. Carl Warner omitted so Brandon.

Speaker 15

It's.

Speaker 9

That has.

Speaker 1

Rocket in. But Josh Draper, in for Pierce, is a massive, massive step back. When considering their key backs are now Josh Draper and Hugh Davies, so that is gnarly. Obviously, Luke Ryan and Jordan Clarke have had their phase of good form and they're starting to slow up a bit. Obviously. Wagner, Chapman Walker. I'm not sure how that's going to match up when you've got like McLean, Logan and Marty Papley. Haywood. It's. I don't know how weeks it's going to be tough, but I think the key game part of this game is.

Speaker 7

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Brody Grundy versus Jackson and Darcy because these are the two best clearance teams in the in the comps. So these kids are going to go head to head. You're gonna have Dropbox worn at Gordon Heaney, robot and Mac and only going head-to-head with Young 5. Brace your sarong and it's gonna be a really, really good match up. Throwing Jager as well, so Freo can. Get keep their clearance game strong and get the ball into these forwards. We know the forwards are the centre forward is a tough position to play at this ground but they have the smallest to do some damage. Sam Sturt's been quite good since he's come back into the side. Yeah, they've got Fredericks, Witkowski, Walters. And you know bamfield. So they've got the smells that can do the damage. But if the Swans get on top. That free backline is going to be under extreme extreme pressure and one would think Paul, who do you have James Jordan going to Jordan?

Speaker 7

Under the thumb.

Speaker 1

Clark.

Speaker 12

Yeah, I think so. It's the. It's the obvious match up.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Yeah. And then obviously, Luke Ryan kind of has to play tall now and he can't play his normal games. If you've got Logan and Marty. McLean all down there, he has to take a big.

Speaker 12

Who does robottom go to the Jared Healy during the week said he gives them a robotomy when he tags.

Speaker 7

Ohh my God the that's Dwayne support charity.

Speaker 12

So I I think it I. Think so wrong then.

Speaker 1

I don't think you're tags are wrong. I think you tag young Young's more.

Speaker 4

OK.

Speaker 1

You watched that game from Young last week. He's so much more damaging than sarong. Sarong gets the clearances, but what young does with his leg cannon is elite.

Speaker 7

Can Frio take anything from the last game that was the game where they should have predicted score had them winning by ten goals, or whatever? Four goals, 15.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Yeah. Well, that was when they kicked one goal team. When Cam McCarthy passed away.

Speaker 7

Yeah, four goals 15 to 313 nine. So if they kick some goals there that. Can. Anything. Can I take anything from that game? But I guess I had Alex Spears as well. So yeah, he's such a huge out, isn't he? It's like the the leaver made combo from Melbourne when.

Speaker 1

Well, they they can, they can.

Speaker 12

Like. Alex Pierce is.

Speaker 1

The second half, so obviously, yeah. Yeah, it it's more just to change the dynamics. They're back line and Ryan has to play key defender when you got Draper and you, Davies, like, that's just gnarly. It's like you've got probably Chapman plays on papillary, but it doesn't.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 12

And it said the SAJ it's it's so different to Optus.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Should not be playing footy at. That ground such a.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 10

Terrible ground, but you know.

Speaker 7

Last time they played at the SG 301517.

Speaker 1

Yeah, but I just think the Swans are going better than everyone at the moment and it's like, I mean, I know people are saying, you know, Carlton, Carlton, but like people, all the Victorian metre are talking about half carton Swans played today. Carton give them a red hot cracker. Might get him. I'm like you.

Speaker 7

Off. Say that, but Swans. Swans could just let him go and get out to a six goal lead. Turn around and be like. And now we'll start playing.

Speaker 1

But it's like they've got winners. Everywhere and it's like.

Speaker 12

Yeah. Long term though, do you think like I always feel like if you're that far? Ahead at this point. The year. Teams start to actually go OK how do we beat Sydney? Like you're the team. We have to beat and.

Speaker 1

I just think. Yeah. I think the thing for me is they've got guys who want it, who have missed out. So you've got Taylor Adams, you've got Grundy, you've got younger, you've got James Jordan. You've got guys like Wicks, Brayden Campbell, who haven't been there. And I think there's enough players there that haven't been there that will drive.

Speaker 12

They go to work on, yeah, point. And they've got they've got winners every like Ahmadi Ahmadi kicks in nine one week last week. I think you barely had a touch and they they win.

Speaker 8

Exactly.

Speaker 13

And then there's nothing. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 12

Both games either, yeah.

Speaker 7

The the epitome of the team, I brought this to you a few weeks many weeks ago because he then went out for six. I'll bring it again. Does Luke Parker get back in that team? I don't think he does now.

Speaker 1

Well, no, because Callum Mills is probably gonna come back in the next three weeks before him, so.

Speaker 7

The.

Speaker 12

Don't have to fight it if they if they're in a grand final, you tell me. You gonna play some kid as your sub? Over like a Luke Parker? I'm. I'm putting Parker in that. That sub best at the very least.

Speaker 7

OK.

Speaker 1

And it depends how he plays like.

Speaker 12

Has he dropped off that much? He was he was really good.

Speaker 7

Who knows? Who knows? Yeah, but look at him going now.

Speaker 1

Last, who knows? Yeah, but who knows? Who knows? And they've brought in like Adams and Jordan.

Speaker 7

Without him, that's. Do you? Do you upset the apple cart to just make one player happen?

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 12

For me, I'd prefer.

Speaker 1

Parker to like a Kayden Cleary. Yeah, fair.

Speaker 12

A WIX or someone like that? I'd rather Parker in the forward.

Speaker 7

Pocket. Yeah, fair enough. So are we all go on Sydney on this game?

Speaker 1

Yep, for sure.

Speaker 7

Sydney at the SCG and then quickly for that Dollar 20 Sydney 435 free. Then we.

Speaker 1

Ohh it's my bad here. Let me go through the what happened? I had it lined up for Tim's tips. Not for not for the game. So we'll run through Brisbane 114, Melbourne 550, Bulldogs 113 N 575, Sydney 120, Fremantle 435. That's actually pretty big.

Speaker 7

And now we go to Peoples First Stadium, which it's no longer Heritage Bank. These people first. Ohh, I don't know.

Speaker 1

No, they they are a different ground, don't they?

Speaker 7

So who keep chopping and changing? Gold Coast Suns are playing at Collingwood up to 4th. Wow.

Speaker 1

Pies. Some big for them. Yeah. So. Yeah. Yeah, people's first stadium. Dutch bank might have got the **** Gold Coast 203. Yeah, I'll find that stadium at Dollar 78. Pies. This has actually swung dramatically after you hear what I'm about to read. So some huge, huge, huge inclusions for the pies. Where is this pies game? There's something wrong with the.

Speaker 7

1800.

Speaker 1

For app and it saves none. I got it here, got it, got it. So we.

Speaker 7

I can go quickly.

Speaker 1

Got Ben King back, which is good for Gold Coast needed and Nick Holman out goes Jake Rogers brand and Alice lasted half a game. He got injured he.

Speaker 7

You did. I you. Did say last week didn't even know. He was still going.

Speaker 1

Yeah, he came out. So it's good to catch up with a friend of the podcast Richie knew, and we watched it with the footy. We watched a bit of the footy together on Sunday, so that was good, but some big, some big wins here for pies. We won't start with the big, but we've got Oleg Markov in Scott Pendlebury in my check in to goey in Joe Richards in out all omitted.

Speaker 7

Yeah, Richie.

Speaker 1

Bawan. Charlie Dean omitted Finley, Recraft omitted reefer, kinnis omitted Chu giath, omitted lochie Schultz illness. So. All those players are sort of like for like Ish Bar. My checker gives them that key fold. You got two good minds. You've got a small forward. You got an outside runner. So they really this really tightens the screws like there aren't many still missing out for the pies now. Obviously Tom Mitchell's still out. Jamie Elliott still out. But you know, you look at their side. It's now looking really solid. The backline is more shape now with you know. How moving back there with, you know, made I'd, Hoskin, Elliott, Noble. So Quinn or still not that quinoa as well. And then, you know, the forward line is they're getting a lot of goals from these smalls. So, like Lipinski, I think is playing very, very well at the moment.

Speaker 7

So you're playing like a high half forward roll like an old school Robbie Grey esque type like pushing up and.

Speaker 13

Yeah. Yes.

Speaker 12

Seems to have a licence, just kind.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah. Robbie Grey probably went more inside. Lipinski plays more outside the exact same sort of role, but Nick Daicos is playing very well, you know.

Speaker 12

Of go where?

Speaker 7

Yeah. Thank you. Yeah.

Speaker 1

Josh Tacos is playing well. Jack Creus since he's gone into the midfield since all those outs has been fantastic, but the Gold Coast mids aren't to be, you know, taken lightly like they played. They went head to head with Fremantle's midfield last week and it was a real shootout, so Anderson Route took Miller, excuse me, they are. Players of the game willpower back very, very good. It's. So they're gonna do with Flanders whether they keep him there moving into. Midfield because his ball use is very, very good Flanders, it's going to be interesting to. See. If the Collingwood forwards your you know your Darcy Camerons, you're my cheques. Your framptons can get anything because Ballard, Andrew and Collins are coming of age in the league as key defenders. So we're thinking back lukosius Sam Day kicked a few last week. At home, we know they play a lot better, so they are, so this is obviously going to be a lot closer, but for mine, those wins for the pies, a lot of those players are going to show you right, Gold Coast coming off a six day break and a trip back. It's going to make it tougher for them. I think the pies are building.

Speaker 7

At different time.

Speaker 1

Very, very well. Pies in Brisbane after their slow start to the. Both building sorted together at the same time. Who would have thought? And I've got the pies winning.

Speaker 7

Yeah, I'm with you. I'll be quick and then we'll go to you. Paulie, I'm with your pies. Can't deny what they're doing. They're doing it at the right time and they're starting to lift quite well, especially with those players out. Gold Coast are a different beast at home, but I think the pies are just coming. They're looking very good and I hope it's a close game. I think it should be a close game because Gold Coast are good, but I think the pills.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Would just get over the top, Paul. Hit me, Gold Coast. Collingwood. Tell me why sons. Why?

Speaker

Sums.

Speaker 1

At home.

Speaker 12

Look SCG aside, I think they've probably got the best home ground advantage in the AFL at the moment. They are very hard to beat up.

Speaker 7

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Yeah. Yes. Collingwood going well, finding ways to get it done. This is a team that beat north by a point the other week 54 down. I know they've got a lot of Inns. They're good Inns. It still takes time for synergy to come together. When you bring in five or six players at once. And I just think Gold Coast together. And we'll get.

Speaker 1

It done, I just didn't see enough like last week to.

Speaker 7

I like that. I like that a lot. Well, I'm Paul. You make me sway my tip. Yeah.

Speaker 1

I didn't see enough live last week for me to go that way.

Speaker 12

I agree, but they are hopeless on the road.

Speaker 10

I know they.

Speaker 12

And good on.

Speaker 10

Are.

Speaker 12

Good at home. They they they're they're differentials home and aways just insane.

Speaker 1

I definitely agree. Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 7

Then we got a Saturday night double. So we got a Saturday morning double headed. Then we got a Saturday night.

Speaker 1

Sunday's doubleheader, yeah.

Speaker 7

Doubleheader. So 530 Adelaide play GWS at Adelaide Oval.

Speaker 1

Ohh, we'll go on that one first. Alright, so we've got Adelaide 208. Giants 175 Giants slowly starting to look like they did at the start of the year. These games are out of order.

Speaker 14

Or.

Speaker 1

Interesting in for Adelaide Taylor, Walker, Riley O'Brien Elliott himmelberg. Out goes Strawn, Schoenberg, borlas. All omitted. Begins. What is Nicks doing down there? Very interesting. So Inns for Giants are massive. So Perriman in Caniglia in for Senso and coming.

Speaker 11

Yeah.

Speaker 1

In out goes Anguin, O'halloran and Petley omitted, that is 3 massive upgrades like huge upgrades into their side. That's two really good mids. And then outside runner Backman, who can play really, really well, so the giant side starts to get some the midfield grunt again. So you gave Perriman Green Callahan. Kelly Coniglio, Ward that is getting back to their prime areas with Briggs going really strong and obviously Adelaide midfield. What is Adelaide midfield like? You've got? Obviously you've got dorson and lead, but where the IT just drops off so there goes hot and cold. Sam Berries in there. Lucky Shoals. Hot and cold. Ben keys. How is that going to match up? With what the Giants have got to deliver?

Speaker 7

How far away is Matt Crouch?

Speaker 1

He's done for the year. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah. OK. And what about Isaac? He he was a hammy. Ohh. He's in. He played played last week. OK.

Speaker 1

He's he's in. He's in. Yeah. He played played last night. Yeah. Research, Scott. But like for mine, the grunt and the speed and the tsunami with the run their back line still locked in, you still got. I mean, Sam Taylor's obviously the out big out there, but you know Jake Buckley can hold his own. You still got Himmelberg and Leo Whitfield ash. And like it still stretch it, but it still matches up. So if.

Speaker 7

Yep, OK.

Speaker 8

Yep.

Speaker 1

The forwards can get back into the groove. Jesse Ricciardi and Toby have had a couple of quieter weeks, but Adelaide just cast at the moment. They're not going well. I know this is at home. I know this is at Adelaide. How's it going to work with Tex? How's O'Brien gonna be respond to being dropped by literally a sample player? It's hard to say this is a really tough game to pick for mine. Probably the hardest of the round. Those Inns for giants make me sway them that way slightly. This anything could happen. It could be smashed up. Either way could be a draw. Could be close. Either way, who knows? Heads those giants, those. Ends and their midfield I think get them over the line.

Speaker 7

Feel like like like kind of play similar style like I don't know.

Speaker 1

There's no orange tsunami for Adelaide. I'm behind the footy.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 7

But when they they can score from the back line, I don't know.

Speaker 1

No they can't.

Speaker 7

Well, it's Adelaide Oval and as we say, a lot of teams playing at home are a different beast. I don't know 5050 toss a coin. I feel like tax is a big win for him. He helps him out a lot. Hey, he's he, he, he.

Speaker 1

I just think crows are bad wherever they play at the moment.

Speaker 8

He's going woeful.

Speaker 1

He's cast maze.

Speaker

All his.

Speaker 1

Tax cast as he passed.

Speaker 12

It last year's looking a bit more flash in.

Speaker 7

He helps them out a lot. I'm not saying.

Speaker 12

The pan clay.

Speaker 7

Exactly. Yeah. Hey, I'm. I'm not saying he's gonna come out and kick 6:00 to 8:00, but I just think he structured him up a bit more and a bit better because defog at the moment, I think exactly what happened with. Waterman that you get pushed back, you get pushed back, you get pushed back, you get pushed back because there's another big dog there. And I think we.

Speaker 1

On this year's form, you shouldn't even speak them in the same sentence. No hey. 'S got Waterman's got panels on Darcy Fogarty.

Speaker 7

Hi now I'm with what you don't understand what I'm saying. Don't worry about it. It's alright.

Speaker 1

Basically all I know what you say is he's a big dog. He sits. There deep and like it means he's gotta take.

Speaker 7

Now he structured him up better down the forward line. He helps Isaac Run where he needs to go. He helps Isaac Run where he needs to go. He's a leader in the. Forward line.

Speaker 12

You said the same line twice.

Speaker 10

You said, yeah. You said you said Isaac twice. Wow.

Speaker 7

Lester Isaac, I said I meant Darcy. I was just meant. Darcy. I meant Darcy. I was looking at Darcy and I moved on through.

Speaker 10

Look at what we look like. Sorry, someone has got broken. Turn him off and on. Wake him up. I'm. Have you got?

Speaker 13

Reset.

Speaker 7

Scared. He stretches them up better down there. I'm just saying. Have a laugh.

Speaker 12

I think I think you could have got that in two sentences. It took 10.

Speaker 7

I tried to say that, but ******** McGee over here keeps saying you're wrong. You're wrong. You're wrong. So. That's just my opinion, and apparently I'm not allowed to have opinion on here. So Paul, you're Paul. You're Paul. Over to you. No, no opinion for me, Paul. Yeah, Paul. I'll forget Paul. No opinion for me. Let's go, pal.

Speaker 10

You're allowed to have an opinion, but, but you gotta you gotta come.

Speaker 12

We. No. No. Look, look, I think text is important to that team. I I, I I think the.

Speaker 7

Ohh, stupid Paul. That's a dumb dumb fake. That's a dumb part now.

Speaker 12

Times have way too much to play for Adelaide to get to the point where, like like, they can't make.

Speaker 1

He's important for the pain and giants are better.

Speaker 12

Finals. Now there's like, you know, at this at this time when you you do start to see teams who who have more to play for, I think come out and and just find that extra level to get it done. And the Giants are in that log jam, they're trying to push to get to top four and I think yeah.

Speaker 14

Knife. Knife.

Speaker 12

They find a way.

Speaker 7

Yep. They're scoring. Sources are exactly the same. Just so you know. Anyway, we move.

Speaker 1

On I have a text. Make them better, so next game is.

Speaker

Sure.

Speaker 12

Tense in here. Listen, this is how we do.

Speaker 1

This is how it operates, Paul. We go at one another and.

Speaker 7

Next game goes to the Pats bomb. Brace up geelong.

Speaker 1

Cattery so we got cats 203. Bombers 170.

Speaker 7

Eight. That's the NCG. Yeah.

Speaker 1

Yeah, MCJ. Yeah. So this. In some this due to an out that we've spoken about, this is where I'm.

Speaker 7

The cat's going. Be human.

Speaker 1

Leaning a little bit. I don't want to, but I might be ends for. This is interesting. We'll get to like Dangerfield's in. We'll get to that later. Lawson Humphreys is.

Speaker 13

Right.

Speaker 1

Shannon Neal. Mitch nevett. Out goes Tom Hawkins, Ollie Henry, and Oshean Mullen Inns for Essendon, Gold Coast, Goldstein and Gresham, Outgoes, Menzie and caddy. So interesting for bombers, Draper and gold. Theme in the side with Nick Cox for now. Yes, for now.

Speaker 8

No.

Speaker 12

Someone will be late out.

Speaker 7

Yeah, for next. Nick Cox's knee last time.

Speaker 12

Yeah, the NFL should find clubs for doing that. If you just pull someone at the 11th hour because you just you just change your mind like that should be.

Speaker 1

Structure. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 12

A fine you.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 12

You trying to pull this?

Speaker 7

If you name them nine, them I.

Speaker 1

As like the thing for me, watching Geelong play last week, they have.

Speaker 7

Guess.

Speaker 1

Dekoning versus dekoning but they have blizzards in the ruck. He went woeful. So no Conway, no Stanley.

Speaker 10

Blizzards.

Speaker 1

What is happening?

Speaker 12

Wasn't decoding in the rust.

Speaker 1

But that's what I mean. He's not a ruckman and then you've got he, you know.

Speaker 12

You know, he was the second highest rated player on the ground behind his brother.

Speaker 1

Yes. Yeah, but you know, they just feed off each other and freaking played lady. Duh. So, Shannon Neil is the other one who can play a bit of rock. But it's it's weird.

Speaker 12

Is Shannon Neal an upgrade on Tom Hawkins this year? Based on how Tom Hawkins has.

Speaker 1

No, because the Neil had one good game out of four. His his other games were just as.

Speaker 12

Played.

Speaker 1

Bad as what, Hawkins?

Speaker 12

I haven't watched a lot of so long, but.

Speaker 1

Were, yeah, he had won, really. He's played. Had one really good game. Yeah. And his other three were.

Speaker 12

Really bad, the Hawkins.

Speaker 1

He's. Passed it definitely passed it. So is he an upgrade? No, but.

Speaker 12

Basically not had a good game.

Speaker 1

Because text. Maybe it's the text, maybe. Maybe the structure is gone, the structure's gone.

Speaker 10

I didn't think that the structures gone. Ohh no.

Speaker 1

This this most pyramid time Tomahawks out structures. Gone. Let's go.

Speaker 12

He tells Stengel where to go. He tells Stengle where to go.

Speaker 7

Yeah. So you so you're saying there's no leadership on the forward from key forward? Yeah, no worries. We'll continue.

Speaker 1

I'm just typing the trash mate.

Speaker 12

Yeah, but it's is. It is this you being sensitive because you're a keyboard and you think when you play for North Beach, you structure us up.

Speaker 7

I whenever I play, I might move out of the way and everyone just looks at me. Who the hell? Who the hell are you?

Speaker 12

So. So you come up, you come up, you come off the ground with with four kicks and. A goal right? But I really structured.

Speaker 6

The bump today.

Speaker 7

Gee, I helped him out. Murphy is stand there.

Speaker 1

I think the other thing for me getting back on topic is the midfield for.

Speaker 7

Now our missions.

Speaker 1

Geelong it's cast so Essendon's midfield is flying no spot for Setterfield. No parish injured Durham Caldwell Merritt flying all three of them are going huge. Dry Caldwell was best on by a mile last weekend. West Coast. And they've got a lot of speed in the legs. Which Geelong don't have a plethora of, so I think you've got to have some lockdown on grime Myers in the forward line. Obviously you've got Macayo's playing well, you've got Redmond, Ridley. There's only really Jeremy Cameron down there who consistently performs in that forward line. So if you can get someone to play on him, maybe a Redman. Go with him up the ground. Mackay can plant him when he's deep. If the first use of the ball comes from Goldstein and Draper, I think Essendon have this comfortably.

Speaker 7

Yep.

Speaker 12

I think it's a. It's a real test game for them. It's if you're the real deal, you you beat this Geelong team by five goals like you on paper. Yeah, and how they've been playing Essen and should comfortably be.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

I should, yes.

Speaker 12

And Sam Durham is just unreal. Unreal. Like, obviously, just saw him destroy our team. I thought he was. He was best on, but Colwell was Cornwell. And.

Speaker 1

He's flawed, isn't he?

Speaker 10

Yeah.

Speaker 1

That Caldwell was just massive.

Speaker 12

We're. Just. We're bulls just going at it the whole way.

Speaker 1

Yeah. But like, again, Satterfield was awesome for them last year, good at the start of the year and you? Can't even get looking, it's.

Speaker 12

Crazy. I heard comment during the week that people were saying parish might struggle to gain and I'm like, surely not. Yeah.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Do you think Parrish gets back in?

Speaker 7

It should I but you.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Surely he's better than like a? Gresham or Kelly?

Speaker 7

Is Nick home playing?

Speaker 1

Ah. Friend of the podcast boy or not boy, he is playing forward flame.

Speaker 12

He did go, yeah.

Speaker 7

He did. He actually played OK. West Coast. I'm with you.

Speaker 1

So not not his boy.

Speaker 7

Or well, I can't have kids anymore. So yeah, thanks, Doug. So I'm, I'm with you. I'm with you, Paul. There with this is a test game. You're playing a team that is in the 8. You need to win that and you need to show that you're actually.

Speaker 10

You probably did your favour.

Speaker 12

He's an angry man.

Speaker 7

Season and the cats, they're not going great. Dad's Army not doing very well. So bombers should keyword should win this game. Especially the fact that it's at the MCG and not at gmhba Andy.

Speaker 1

No, they're not. Yeah. And Carlton just absolutely smoked him at the. G last.

Speaker 7

Friday and we're gonna move on science port. This should be quick.

Speaker 1

Yeah. So we've got Saints $1.80 port 205. So interesting game this like. The hot and coldness of both these teams is outrageous, so Inns for Saints, you got Wanganeen Miller up, Burns Webster and Sharman. The only out is Cody. In support you got Boo corioli, Laurens, Williams, Jones and Vincent Tity. Yeah, out goes radically Jace, Burgoyne and Macatee. So Burgoyne's been quite good for them. So as radically as so. I think. The key for this game for me is, I think, Saints, Saints win this right. Marvel stadium. They play so much better than anywhere and ports midfield is just going at the moment Rosie's been up and down. He had a very good game last week, but Butters is only. Just going Horn Francis has it wasn't as hot as the start of the year. Drew boat's been out and made. I think, when how you do you have wine? How you going to Butters or Rosie? I've been.

Speaker 7

I was about to say that. Who's?

Speaker 1

Going to Butters personally.

Speaker 7

Who does he go to, Paul?

Speaker 1

Yeah. Butters, butters, Scott.

Speaker 7

UM. Yeah, I don't. I don't know either one of those honestly don't know. You can take your pick out of it because they're both as damaging, actually. Butters is probably a bit more damaging, but.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 1

I just think. And like for me like this forward line of port with Lord Georgiadis Marshall, it's just not as strong. Yeah, that's where they were last year. And they're missing radically, so. Max King Caminiti and Cooper shaman. If he plays like there's potential there and we know it's going to be. A low scoring game.

Speaker 7

Thin licence on the bench though he could.

Speaker 6

Come on.

Speaker 1

They might not play him. I just think if they've got. All this run that Saints have, and I think they've been playing better the last few weeks. Jack Sinclair has been fantastic. Wangan and Miller are back in his huge Josh battle has been playing very well as well. Hopefully he ends up with my boys as it's sort of touted to be that would be fantastic for us we need. To go like Josh battle, but. Keith Royal Marshall Royal Marshall goes to town on Jordan. Sweet. He can control the game and if he has a big game like he has. A lot of games this year, I think he puts Saints in the right direction. I think your boys get the job done. I'm actually quite confident they will get the job done. Scott, you never you never come. You didn't think you.

Speaker 7

I'm not. Yeah. It's just, yeah. And they smoked them, didn't we? Jesus Christ was one of the.

Speaker 1

Beat the Eagles.

Speaker 11

I only gotta get that one, the.

Speaker 7

Worst games before?

Speaker 12

Worst live game to go to.

Speaker 7

Yeah, there's the worst game football ever seen that we can't kick the our disposal ****. That's pretty simple. So you can have plug it down there right now and he's not kicking his because they're going over his head or they're going on his. The our disposal is shocking, lower Marshalls.

Speaker 12

OK. Against Brisbane? Yeah, in Brisbane.

Speaker 7

That yeah, because they moved the ball kind of quick, they didn't wait and that's what they need to do. But Ross decides. Yeah, we will do it. We won't do it. We will do it. And I know that the players don't. Ross doesn't go. Ohh go out there and play harder and the players go, OK, Ross, we'll play harder. I know it's it's something that he's trying to implement. And it's maybe it's turned a corner in that Brisbane game, but our disposal is shocking. I'm not. I'm not saying the game playing shocking because I I have said it and I'll keep saying it that I back Ross. You can't kick goals and you can't blame someone like Max King when he's getting the delivery that he's getting and it's not good. Port Adelaide to win because they're in the midfield battle. I don't care from much.

Speaker 1

I think your forward lines dynamic, I think you've got Owens Butler Higgins like you've got like.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Again that that's fine. But they don't get the. It sits on their head. Well, they can't Kick It Out in front.

Speaker 9

You don't wanna.

Speaker 1

Like Higgins is dominating at the moment.

Speaker 7

Yeah, I know, but my my point is.

Speaker 1

That's good. He doesn't want it on his and he wants these scrubber kicks. In so he can go to work.

Speaker 7

I know. Yeah. So anyway, I'm. I'm taking Port Paul.

Speaker 1

What do you reckon?

Speaker 12

I think on paper port are the way better team but.

Speaker 6

Yes.

Speaker 12

I can't. I don't think I can tip them because I don't know if they're playing for Ken or not. And if, like, like Ken is on the edge, right.

Speaker 14

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Now like like.

Speaker 1

Bottom 10 can.

Speaker 12

You're finally saying the Almighty port defender cane corns actually start to criticise them and say KENS time might be up.

Speaker 13

Yeah. I just.

Speaker 1

Sites are better.

Speaker 12

That says to me and and like Kane Cornes, his brother is one of the coaches. So that's why he's been so reluctant to ever.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Or. Awesome. If he's saying that that says to me inside something's not right and the players are not.

Speaker 7

Well, they've talked about the well. They've talked about the plan where Josh Carr is gonna come in eventually, are they not?

Speaker 12

Playing for him, there's. Yeah. Do you want Josh Carter to take over when he's currently basically one of their coaches? It's not going.

Speaker 7

Yeah, I know. That's no, that's not.

Speaker 1

Right. Have you seen her? They're throwing out who should be taken over? Yeah.

Speaker 7

Box. Interesting.

Speaker 12

But yeah, if if Paul played for Ken, they'll win. Yeah, but I I just think.

Speaker 1

I I reckon you guys are underselling St. Kilda, but that's just my personal watch game.

Speaker 12

I just don't know.

Speaker 7

Off.

Speaker 1

I've watched plenty. I've watched that Brisbane game, they're awesome.

Speaker 7

1. Flashing the pen anyway, we move on to tigers. Blues. Yeah. His first kick was right off. Yeah. Tigers. Blues.

Speaker 12

Show him, make it look good.

Speaker 1

He does. Yeah. So this is going to get nearly, one would think so ends for ah, tigers. Jacob Hopper back. Jacob blight. First game. Good luck to him. Sam banks. Caleb Smith. Tom Lynch. Another hammy. So he is out. Inns for Carlton, Chera, marchbank, Motlop, Pittonet, out goes dirt, and so the Carlton midfield gets stronger. I mean, so does the Richmond midfield, but when you've got Walsh, Chera, creeps, acres, Hollands, Kennedy.

Speaker 7

And you lose a key forward.

Speaker 1

Correct. How are they gonna kick a score? So what's happening with dusty? Who knows? You've got cincotta. I think Shay Bolton. You're in for a tough day, brother. He's been doing a very good tagging job at the moment. The back line is solid. Obviously. We've mentioned in the last few weeks, but I just can't see Richmond kicking a score. I can't see it happening.

Speaker 4

Yep.

Speaker 7

I'll be quick on this. I can't win just easily.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Come dog would have to kick 10.

Speaker 12

Richmond medical team. Need to have a good hard look at themselves? There is a lot of soft tissues at that club and that's coming from a West and a lot.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Yeah. Did did I finish Kane, get a new job at?

Speaker 12

Richmond no. But something's not right there. They keep getting. Yeah. But anyway, yeah.

Speaker 1

For me, Elijah Hollands, it's just about one of the steals of the year. He had his bag issue and then he missed a few games, and now he's killing it. Gold Coast, another one of Gold Coast that has let slip. He is flying. Charlie Curnow is putting on a show at the moment and I don't think like Noah.

Speaker 12

Carlton by a lot.

Speaker 1

Walter probably has to go to Mackay over. Kenai, who have they got for kernel? I've lost and Nathan Broad. Ben Miller, like, man smashed ya.

Speaker 2

I.

Speaker 7

Think I think we just move on because I think this game is. Gonna take about. 10 minutes. Yeah, alright. I'm gonna go do away. This is let's those hawthorn over here.

Speaker 1

We go think so so. West Coast first Hawthorne Dollar, 52, Hawthorn 255. West Coast. So interesting names coming back into the side here. So for Eagles, they've got some talent coming in. Tim Kelly, Harley Reid, Andrew Gaff, Harry Edwards. Out goes Petrocelli for Hawks. In comes Morrison, Josh Ward, Finn McGuinness, Joe Sarong. Out goes Luke. Bruce managed. I'm not sure how he get managed when you play about. 10 minutes a game for the past six weeks, but hey.

Speaker 12

Managing him to retirement.

Speaker 1

Yeah, well, he's he's there. But I mean, we've got players that could be playing that role, but hey, that's by the by. So obviously interesting setup here for this game. There was talk of Mitchell Lewis coming back in no Mitchell Lewis, so I like that. I like our forward structure at the moment with Guinivan and the Wizard and Hardwick matching it with Kaushal deer, Mabia, Troll and Gunston. So some good matchups down there, obviously with the govern and brass. And Duggan, I think the key for me is. Of a Sealab, Tom Cole, and Hoff on Guinivan and the wizard. But the Josh Roshan. Up, I think is the one where we can take some advantage there if. You got deer or gunston mashing, mashing, matching up against Tom? Josh Rotham I like. Match up. But in saying that you know, it flips the other way as well because the Eagles forward line has some power to it as well. And you know, when I see Oscar Allen on Sam Frost and like, yeah, right. And I see Jake Waterman on Jack scrimshaw, like that's not so bad. But then when I see like Jack darling on Sicily, I'm like, that's probably in our favour. So it's gonna be really funny. To see how all these match ups go with. East Coast. Tall forward line, who actually plays, you know, does Hutchinson, Merrick, do they all play again? Interesting. Who knows? But look, I think it's a good game. I think if the Eagles come to play the way they have been playing, they've been going much better. I think we are going much better. I still think we're a long, long, long way off it. So I think this would be a very, very, very close game, obviously not knowing the actual teams right now does make it hard. But I think the big thing for me is you see Harley reading, you see one man by the name of Finn McGuinness named it would be safe to say Harley Reid is in for a tough day on Sunday.

Speaker 12

Tim Kelly, game of his.

Speaker 1

Life. Well, how's he going? At the moment? Our mids are actually going pretty good though. Like Walpole Newcomb, you know, going will die.

Speaker 12

I I I.

Speaker 13

You have a.

Speaker 12

Very restrictive midfield. At the moment I I think Hawthorne deserve to be favourites and I do think Hawthorne will win.

Speaker 15

Yeah.

Speaker 12

But I don't think the odds are.

Speaker 1

No, I agree. No me either.

Speaker 12

Where they should be, I think. I think West Coast are almost back to their best 22. I think they're probably missing here. I'm on and Petrocelli now. He's out. I'm probably missing another one or two, but I think. I think at this point other than like a Sydney or Carlton, I'd say if they're on, they could beat anyone at at Optus on their day.

Speaker 7

I date Melbourne's not very good right, but yeah.

Speaker 12

Yeah, yeah. I mean. And I think I think Hoff will shut down one of the small forwards, Hoffs had been having an incredible year. He's he's playing really like he's locked down.

Speaker 1

I think coming up. In numbers, does he go to Hardwick? Hardwick probably kicking the most goals out of those smalls.

Speaker 12

Number. He goes to harbour God given I think. Yeah. I don't think. I think we'll just let we'll let Wizard just spay shots.

Speaker 1

It even plays pretty high. Yeah, I think half, I think given plays at much higher up the ground. So maybe coal goes to him. Hoff. It's been a more stay home, but look, coming off the bar is interesting as well. So I'd be interested to see how that. Goes. But look, we're we're improving. We're playing better footy and the fact that where we are, you know, I had faith, it was really bad at the start of the year. Our skills have got a lot better. Dee Ambrosio has been a fantastic pick. Up for us? How did how did Essen let let him go? How? Yes, and let him go crazy. But you know Scrimshaw has probably been our most important player this year.

Speaker 12

Almost pick up of the added excitement.

Speaker 1

And all these key backs went well. We door has stood up well. I was sitting there going, we got Sicily and Frost. We got no one and scrimshaw's playing fantastic. So I think it's gonna be a good game. I think we win. I think it's going to be very close. We need people thunderlord meat to really get a hold of this game because Matt Flynn's been been good. It's been a good inclusion for West Coast and the Games that I have watched, it's gonna be some big bodies in that midfield and it's I think it's gonna be a good game. I I wouldn't be surprised if Eagles. Knock us off. If we don't bring our best football, I think we won't be winning, but our football has been better than West Coast recently, so I think we.

Speaker 12

Yeah, I I agree. I think Hawks win. I'm, I'm as I have been for most of this year, most of last year. Just gonna go in and hope I see a few good things from few of our younger guys which you know every week it feels like one or two of our younger guys has a has a decent game which is nice to see and it's it's just about coming together. Yeah well.

Speaker 1

Trickle over. Yeah, there has been improvement.

Speaker 12

I mean, we've had one or two really bad losses, but you know.

Speaker 1

What? What happened that crows game?

Speaker 12

I think we had one that was that crows one was really bad. Other than that, you know, ten goals is now a bad loss, whereas last year that was the standard loss. So we've definitely improved and I think.

Speaker 1

20 yeah.

Speaker 12

With bottom out touch put, but yeah, it should be a good game. I'll go in hoping we can win.

Speaker 7

Over under 12. 1250 calls for the game Paul from you. As in as a supporter 50 I think I might go to that game. I've got the day off the next day.

Speaker 12

God, yeah, West. Coast fans are the only ones that do it in all AFL.

Speaker 7

They are.

Speaker 12

Go over and have a have a trip over to Melbourne Scotts. Go watch a number of games. Go sit at the pies game my friend.

Speaker 7

Hey.

Speaker 1

He nearly got he nearly got ejected from Eddie Hat. Didn't you, Scott?

Speaker 7

Yeah, I did. But that's I was telling Joe Joe Daniher to move to Sydney and because I genuinely thought that the coaches boxes were like noise cancelling.

Speaker 11

Yeah.

Speaker 1

You're a peanut? Of course they're not mine.

Speaker 7

I didn't. I didn't. And I want to make it clear I didn't knock on there. I was. We were literally just sitting right in the front.

Speaker 12

You're probably in the comment. You're probably on like a radio commentary, like yelling that out.

Speaker 7

No, no, no. I was literally in front of the box and Joe was sitting like directly behind us like our back with like down the bottom. And all I just sat there was like, moved to Sydney. Joe, don't be part of this Joe. And the security guy came up and goes. Those guys in that box have asked you to please be quiet. I was like, can you hear me? I was like, oh, that's not good. Anyway, we move on poo poo on.

Speaker 10

Why would it be noise, cats?

Speaker 7

I don't know. I don't.

Speaker 12

This is this is how they're what. They're just watching a game in radio silence. Just like the box. Yeah.

Speaker 10

Know it's. The mind of Scott Brown works.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Hey, I I don't know. I I don't know why I thought that I just did. Anyway, I think the Hawks win and I hope they absolutely fist them anyway. Move on because you're here, Paul, and you're part of this. We move on to some fantasy, am I?

Speaker 10

Ex. Bahamas. You're a wizard?

Speaker 4

Picks it up and goes into. Be careful.

Speaker 10

About taking off when your.

Speaker 4

Boys. Ohh, you just never know where the Wiz at the back was. The wizard. He could have been held. Why aren't Robertson? Does he gives it to the wizard? 46 out he could.

Speaker 7

Certainly can update us. Novak, what's happening? Did we win?

Speaker 1

No, we didn't. Some big, some big results though. Last week, some monsters. So Col has cannoli overload for cow. He needs another sojourn to Italy.

Speaker 7

Yeah.

Speaker 6

Oh God.

Speaker 7

String some more red.

Speaker 1

He's struggling, so he's lost his last three 1818, lost to to Holts. So Holts comes good one week turns to **** the next. Now. Speaking, you're turning to ****. The Big dog has lost again. So the big dogs now lost two out of his last three.

Speaker 7

It's going through that mid season, huh?

Speaker 1

Guess who knocked him off?

Speaker 7

Was it?

Speaker 1

Michael Duckworth saved no Ducky 1977 to 1953. I went for Ducky, so friend of the big dog had a win 1967 knocked off Ioppolo 1921 had too much to drink and ordered a lot of grill.

Speaker 7

Ohh so it wasn't Milko again. He hasn't done something.

Speaker 14

My names.

Speaker 1

Alright.

Speaker 3

Ordered a lot of lot grill.

Speaker 10

Rude.

Speaker 7

Time. Did you go home? It's not 24/7 bloody.

Speaker 1

10 hi, he just told me I ate a lot of grilled then.

Speaker 12

He woke up the next day. Should have seen the man's eyes. He was a tiny boy. I got there was seven and he was. He looked like he was ready for bed.

Speaker 1

In the man's eyes, yeah, I think he was. He was another one that didn't eat either. And it. Just didn't go well for us, so. Yeah. So in the game of the round, in a really close one, so cost 20. 04 knocked off theirs 1989 tough loss for there's there poorly. Cav had a win, so 1941 knocked off Sydney Schweini Richie Newen 1725 in another close one milco's getting better 1869 for Milko Hutches. Hilux is rocket shipping.

Speaker 7

Ohh, here he comes. Here he comes.

Speaker 10

Up the ladder.

Speaker 1

1913 so speaking and not rocket shipping on the ladder, lucky for me is anchored to the bottom 1664 played 401909, so good win for 40. Good man BA. He's back at at 1979. Knocked off the beats 18/6. Two tough day for us all sports had a really good game, so 1919 for US, 1981 for more sports and at the last game. The previous juggernaut is starting to get some momentum. 1995 knocked off Xavier's Xavier 1821, so if we go to the ladder, this is absolute logjam central, so top of the ladder, big dog.

Speaker 3

Then.

Speaker 1

11 and four friend of the Big Dog, 11 and four. Hi my names Cos 11 and four. Good. Man B 810 and five, nine and six. Mobile sports front and centre hutches Hilux 8 spot there's eight and 7-8 and seven theirs cow, Sydney, Shahini Ritchie, Newham Senso. And fori.

Speaker 7

Oh my God.

Speaker 1

Poorly Cav. You're on 11th, but you're on 7:00 and 8:00. So you're literally one game out of the 8. So is the beast. So is holds. We've got our upper low and 16th on 6th and 9th Ducky on five and 10, Xavier on 4 and 11 Mill, Coat 2 and 13. Lucky Ferrer 2 and 13 so. Interesting games this week, so we need to get back on the waggon so cow versus Ducky Holtz versus ioppolo big dog versus vez big game there. Friend of the big dog versus Sydney Shahini cost versus Hilux big. That's a grand final rematch from last year's poorly Cav. You've got 4 E so you got a chance to keep your wedding game.

Speaker 12

It's going down in Florida.

Speaker 1

Going we've got our Milky versus the beast cheese for coming out last week. Milk. Curry. It's he was there till pretty late milk go very good.

Speaker 7

You mean you mean the male model that is smoother?

Speaker 12

Man milk. He did smoke bomb, though. Yeah, he did. Smoke bomb, yeah.

Speaker 1

He did. He did text me though, saying I've gotta go. I'm out so good, good. He's a good man, Milko lucky forever. Smile, sports. We have good man. BA verse. Sensei and we've got Xavier. So Xavier can come good with some big scores. So we need to get a win to get back on the waggon.

Speaker 7

We got this. Speaking of getting back on the waggon.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

We're going to start at the Port Adelaide game.

Speaker 1

Alright, hang on a second.

Speaker 7

There's no I just go with what I've been given, Houston, 100 plus, dollar 55.

Speaker 1

Alright, hang on a second.

Speaker 7

Backs, yeah.

Speaker 1

That's against your boys. Yeah. Good. Good. That wizard, was it? Do it. Was it this wizard or the other Wiz?

Speaker 7

That's the other facts against St. Kilda have done us well. Five game average of 105 and gets his easiest match up.

Speaker 1

Wizard. Who are you pointing to exactly? Yeah, like it.

Speaker 7

Then we go to the. Pies game. I'm just waiting for the horns. Yep. Crisp 100 Plus dollar 82.

Speaker 8

Pause.

Speaker 1

Yeah, like that. He's flying.

Speaker 7

Silly, silly price for the form, which is over reaction of the pies. Potential ends on a six game streak of 105 plus, averaging 115 at the time. Damn it, I thought. I could get that in before the launch.

Speaker 1

155.

Speaker 7

And then this other wizard right that I know he sent one in, and then he panicked because he thought bond might be out. So he had to update it. This was the last minute update. So.

Speaker 13

Yeah.

Speaker 1

We know what's going to happen now.

Speaker 7

So yeah, so.

Speaker 12

100 and.

Speaker 1

Yeah, like he did against Frere when he was dead.

Speaker 7

So this is the updated 1 Walsh 100 plus at $1.40.

Speaker 1

Alright, hang on a SEC.

Speaker 7

Hard running should pay off against this weak tigers midfield. That gives us plenty of Marks and points. Outside players should tear it up at the G.

Speaker 1

Yeah, not.

Speaker 8

Yeah, lock that.

Speaker 7

And then we go to your boys last game of the round.

Speaker 1

Ohh holly right?

Speaker 7

Nah, your boy will day 90 plus dollar fifty. Very achievable for day against the Eagles team that has been.

Speaker

OK.

Speaker 1

Yep, Eagles, Eagles mids are giving up stacks.

Speaker 7

Leaky to inside mids all year, bring it home.

Speaker 12

Good by that wizard, really.

Speaker 1

Good. Yeah. Well, I think you'll find the bond. The bond. Probably. Yeah. 100 Plus for Waldo.

Speaker 7

Good form there. Ah, 90 plus.

Speaker 1

90 plus. All right, let's put that bad boy together. We're sitting one fifty 515514150 with a bit of a boost. We're looking at about 5:27.

Speaker 7

Usually around 5 bucks they do some good work, so I believe. I also ohh shot strap yourself in here Paul, because this is where.

Speaker 1

Alright, hang on a second. Just let me send this to you before I forget. So you've got it.

Speaker 7

He's got it. He's got to get himself in the zone he's got.

Speaker 12

Bit of magic here.

Speaker 1

He's got. Oh, I wouldn't go that far. I don't know how the vocals, the vocals are after last weekend. My voice probably shot.

Speaker 12

No pressure, boys, no pressure.

Speaker 7

And he's got 2 singing parts to do and.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Tim's tipsy, so he's a bloody shambles. Anyway, let's. Yeah, it was. Anyway, Speaking of time.

Speaker 1

His new one? It's good to see him on the weekend, though. Cheers for coming out, Tim. Tips. Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 11

Tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip tip. Interesting tips.

Speaker 7

That's a good way to put it.

Speaker 12

It's it's really good seeing all this light, yeah.

Speaker 7

Hey, Speaking of interesting.

Speaker 1

Hey, witty Curry, got witty, can knocked that bloke out cold. Good tip there, Timmy.

Speaker 12

How about England?

Speaker 7

So I've got two recordings.

Speaker 1

I only say the good ones, not the bad ones, but.

Speaker 7

I've got two. Yeah, because he sent me one, and then he sent me another. And he's, like, and UFC. I missed it so.

Speaker 12

I let him.

Speaker 1

Know one why has he got 2? Ohh no. Alright, so where we going? First EUR obviously, right.

Speaker 7

There's two so. I I'm guessing I don't know. We listen to it live together. We can enjoy the fun together. Let's see if he's in the car.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 15

Alright boys, it's Timmy's car tips. I am the England specialist. You should say the England curse. Absolutely *********. So far for England, they have dropped the ball. It is not looking good on their front. They might scrape in. Through the group stage, but yeah. This week's tipping it's a bit tricky. I got to see it. Turn around this corner. Let's go. Germany beat Denmark. They're paying goal 60. I think they're gonna easily get that done. They're actually having a cracking tournament home ground advantage though.

Speaker 4

Pull over.

Speaker 15

And then because I'm sucked in every time, let's go England to pizza. But yeah, alright, that's it. Share later.

Speaker 1

Ohh, I forgot UFC alright now back for UFC.

Speaker 7

Yeah. So. So and now let's see what he said about the UFC.

Speaker 15

Second round, boys, I've got to put the UFC in and it's cracking car this week. Let's go with let's bring back up Alex Pereira to beat Yuri Prochaska and then. Will go Ian McGarry. To lose to Michael Page, that's.

Speaker 16

Good.

Speaker 1

He always throws.

Speaker 6

Sorry.

Speaker 1

The ruffies in and when he goes the ruffie they normally lose. So he's got German.

Speaker 12

Like I was giving you the to lose. I'm just tell who's gonna win.

Speaker 1

I know. Yeah. So we got England Dollar, Germany, $1.60, England, dollar 36, Pereira 168 and page 2. 27831 that multi I would advise leave that page and you'll probably be in. A good spot.

Speaker 7

Speaking of our Timmy's tips. It was fun last week because when, like Milko was there and then all our boys were there. It was like, ohh, that's Tim.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

And then are you Tim's tips? Yeah, that's cost and they're.

Speaker 10

Yeah, and.

Speaker 7

Like, Oh my name. 'S cost. Yeah, it's like, oh, that's this guy. Oh, that's Milky. Ohh. How does the milkman?

Speaker 1

My my cousin came and begged Chris and he's like, oh, I didn't know who Brownie was, but I.

Speaker 7

Ohh. Oh yeah, I saw it. Saw him. Yeah.

Speaker 1

Heard him? Then I knew who he was.

Speaker 7

Sorry, share team. I was saying I was talking to the wife or just yelling at her, telling her to do something. He's like brownie. I felt like ****. Do I know this one is that? No. But yeah, good to see everyone. Anyway, there's Timmy's tips. There's the fun part, but this is the serious part, Paul. I hope you saw something good, because this is going to be this has to be big and and again he appreciates. If guests don't just stare at him in his eyes when he does this.

Speaker 1

Mate, good man, big Chris. Is it?

Speaker 12

I'm ready.

Speaker 1

No, and and lick their lips go lock.

Speaker 7

And. Your.

Speaker 12

But I'm looking.

Speaker 7

Away, but enjoy it.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 14

Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, Pyramid, pyramid, pyramid.

Speaker 12

Fantastic rhythm then.

Speaker 7

Yeah, it's impressive because it sounds exactly the same every single week. That's why people are like.

Speaker 1

I've had some practise.

Speaker 7

I thought it was recording.

Speaker 12

I'd love you to play it on 1.7 and try. And do.

Speaker 10

It that way, yeah.

Speaker 12

That's that's what, that's what.

Speaker 7

Sense I tried to do that, so no, actually he went, he went. Probably .5 here.

Speaker 1

Yeah. Permit, permit. And then he spoke for 30 minutes about Brady.

Speaker 12

Rollings and swore every yeah, every first word basically.

Speaker 4

That's very good.

Speaker 1

Second word.

Speaker 7

Ohh my Lord. The mouth on that man. Where we going first?

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 10

Well, friends of the.

Speaker 1

Podcast have sent tips in yeah, so friend of the podcast Irvine is riding his Sydney Swans and they're going well. He's been very good after his Eagles sojourn, which didn't work out for him. He's got no stuff that. $1.50 line. Let's find out what's going to be best where we're at. So I'll turn it. Markets. Where are we?

Speaker 7

$20 bet credit. Thank you.

Speaker 1

Sydney Swans, thanks for that. Scott, 15 1/2 on lads.

Speaker 7

More markets alternate line. Where are we, dollar fifty. What'd you say yours was?

Speaker 1

15 1/2.

Speaker 7

17 1/2.

Speaker 1

OK, put that in there. So ones that we're not going to do the beast gave out Brisbane on the 150 line. I said Friday. Milco gave out the wizard to kick two guys, cause that's his bet every week, apparently. So.

Speaker 12

Bro. You have risk.

Speaker 1

So I think he.

Speaker 12

Goes to and also you really want you. You want the pyramid to fall apart watching. We should pick one game.

Speaker 10

Hell no.

Speaker 7

Yes, no profit.

Speaker 1

After after, after Koss's Archie Perkins cost us the pyramid, we banned prop bets. So yeah. Well, I've got another one, but I'm pretty sure it's yours, so I'll leave you to say what you're gonna say. Kev, what have you got?

Speaker

For that.

Speaker 12

I'm I'm jumping on with Irvine. I I had. I had Swans. I thought. I thought we Pierce out. It was, you know.

Speaker 1

Ah, you think.

Speaker 12

Swans been betting? Everyone are free or just lost two weeks ago to Bulldogs by what ten goals? Yeah, Sydney by three goals against them at. Yeah, the CG.

Speaker 1

Yep.

Speaker 7

I like where you're at, Paul, because.

Speaker 12

But Irvine can claim.

Speaker 1

Hey.

Speaker 10

Still no doctor Jones for me, Scott.

Speaker 7

I'm a busy man. I agree.

Speaker 12

This goes hard.

Speaker 16

Coming from busy land.

Speaker 1

Still got nothing on Doctor Jones.

Speaker 7

He's with Paul Kavanaugh and he's with Irvine. So we have to put this in. This is in so.

Speaker 15

Ohh I'm not seeing.

Speaker 12

It's already gonna have. You can have enough legs. Everyone's just going.

Speaker 10

Yeah. Now we will. We'll be fine.

Speaker 7

So we got Sydney, he said -17 1/2 at $1.50 one. So he clearly looked at 365. Swans are flying seven and oh against top eight sides this year, three or on four at home. Sorry. Oh, and four at home. Sydney are too strong.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 7

Agreeing with everything that you've always said, so that is in.

Speaker 1

Yeah. So stars gave out a horse tip. Objectify, he said. Too much riding on it. I'll have a week off this week, so we like stars. Stars as a good man for the pyramid.

Speaker 7

OK. So then are we going? With your.

Speaker 12

You win all the week.

Speaker 1

This might be my slip on my thong of the week because I'm I'm torn the Wardlaw out.

Speaker 7

My God. Nothing. And Natalie imbruglia.

Speaker 1

Yeah, nothing's right. I'm torn.

Speaker 7

I wish I had that.

Speaker 1

Let.

Speaker 7

You turn something music.

Speaker 1

No, I need some divine intervention here because.

Speaker 12

Imagine, imagine it's it's day one.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Should we call this guys, do you wanna do you wanna live call pops?

Speaker 10

Cost never answers.

Speaker 1

The phone. So the two that I've got, obviously the North Melbourne plus and the Essendon plus.

Speaker 7

Huh.

Speaker 1

Wardlaw out while I was all set on Ruse. That Wardlow hour is big for me. What's the essence? And lime. What do you got there?

Speaker 7

OK. I'm just quickly looking at the north plus sign. Yeah, it's.

Speaker 1

Plus line on lads is 51 1/2 for north.

Speaker 7

50 1/2.

Speaker 1

And the Essendon plus on lads is 9 1/2.

Speaker 13

Like a plus.

Speaker 1

Versus Geelong at the G9 and 1/2.

Speaker

Uh.

Speaker 7

Or 50 the bombays. Where are we? You can have six. And a half.

Speaker 1

Oh, that's nothing, lads. Just look in a better bed at.

Speaker 12

The moment no, it's nine and a half. $1.48 on lads.

Speaker 1

But I gotta boost it, Paul. So.

Speaker 12

With the boost, you clear the dollar fifty, yeah.

Speaker 7

Dollar 55 for 6 1/2 for the.

Speaker 1

That's not enough.

Speaker 7

Plus 6 1/2.

Speaker 1

Well, I need to think about it. I can't make a decision 6 or 9 1/2 versus 6 1/2 a big difference and I'm getting an extra point for north and an extra 2 for Sydney. Lads is looking a better option at the moment.

Speaker 7

Ohh my God. Lucky I've got lads as well. Anyway. Where the hell is mine? Oh, there it is. Here is what everyone is waiting for.

Speaker 5

Smooth jimmies luck gonna weak.

Speaker 4

Ooh, that's a big luck. All right.

Speaker 7

Now I am going to the Carlton game. Yes, and I am going the dollar fifty line for the Blues.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 12

Good man.

Speaker 1

2029 1/2 for.

Speaker 7

OK. You got 29 1/2.

Speaker 12

It was, it was. My other ones got like.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it it. It was the one, but.

Speaker 7

Alright, where so put your.

Speaker 12

They've just been Geelong by more than that. Geelong the better than Richmond.

Speaker 4

We, we.

Speaker 7

Safe to say we're going with lads this week, so can you put all that in and tell us what that's added up?

Speaker 1

So it's it's three if we're taking, obviously I'm gonna put one of mine in, not two. So it's about so well well it's about 337 pre boost.

Speaker 7

Yeah. So. Put put the bombers one in it. What's that? And that's we got 719 to put on that.

Speaker 8

Yeah.

Speaker 7

So what's that? Quick math?

Speaker 1

2426 pre boost. So we're talking 2 1/2 again plus. No, I'm excited. I'm about to have the car, right? No, no, I can't.

Speaker 7

Can you make a call now or not? Alright, so it's either gonna be north or the.

Speaker 1

I wanna wait. I wanna.

Speaker 7

Bombers.

Speaker 1

Yeah, I wonder why? Because it bounced out.

Speaker 7

Sydney are a certainty.

Speaker 1

Yep, Sydney and Carlton are in.

Speaker 7

Fountain or a certainty?

Speaker 1

Yeah. And then I'm gonna sit in a coma. I'm, you know. What I'm gonna do?

Speaker 7

Are they both at the same? They're both the same. No one Saturday morning.

Speaker 1

Sydney and North Sydney and N are at the same time.

Speaker 7

No, they're not. Oh, Sydney N no. Sorry. Are the bombers and N. They're ones in the morning. Ones at.

Speaker 1

No. Not. Night. Yep. So basically the first game will be north and Bog Dog north and Bogs north, and dogs and Swanson. 3:00 or 11:45. Yeah, the cats and the bombers is 530 game.

Speaker 12

They're not, yeah. I I lean bombers, I I.

Speaker 1

You mean bombers? What do you reckon?

Speaker 7

I like the dogs, but I don't know. I don't.

Speaker 12

Do you how much faith do you have in north? Like, OK, but couple of weeks. I know this is the north. It's not been good. The the Bulldogs are a downhill skating team that when they get it, when they get the game on their terms they.

Speaker 1

I think they're playing better.

Speaker 7

Yes, that's. That's the.

Speaker 10

State right?

Speaker 1

I just don't like their forward line. It's too big, but I will see what happens.

Speaker 12

Going.

Speaker 7

You got. You still have some thinking to do, but there's there's some stuff that needs to go in the bin before that. This is just to you. I hope you bought a joke because it's after in the bin. If not, you better start researching. Good. Let's find out. What's.

Speaker 10

Audrey.

Speaker 12

Yeah, I got a I got a joke.

Speaker 7

In the bin.

Speaker 16

It's not good. Look at all this *******. Who's putting all this in the bin? How many portions are you putting in there? How much is in the bin?

Speaker 10

Look, look.

Speaker 1

Alright, well firstly I'm in the bin because I had a massive spew outside the footy Club that I only found that happened about 3 days later, so apologies to.

Speaker 4

Kidding.

Speaker 1

Thorley. But went for quick when some ******* puts 5 vodkas in your beer.

Speaker 7

Don't apologise to him.

Speaker 1

And you, scarlet, and you don't know it's there.

Speaker 13

That doesn't help.

Speaker 1

But I can't remember how many shots I had, but from all the reports it would have been about 30.

Speaker 6

Yes.

Speaker 1

Is that is that being conservative or is it?

Speaker 7

There's we won't put it up, but there's a video if you see us, just ask to see the video.

Speaker 8

Ah yeah.

Speaker 1

Shout out to seats. I think he saved me.

Speaker 10

From falling on the ground.

Speaker 7

You should go down and smash your face.

Speaker 1

Good, good man seats, shout out.

Speaker 12

To Peshmerga, sesh is a menace.

Speaker 10

Yeah. Alright. So the boys club.

Speaker 7

Just a lot going on.

Speaker 1

So we got into the Super eights. Nathan Ellis has been playing well. Let's just trundle out the boys club. Let's go with Cummins Hazelwood, Zampa. Join us. Wade, how did we go?

Speaker 10

Because.

Speaker 1

********* David Warner made the thing all about himself, giving sandpaper gate another crack. And look what happened, boys. Club in the bin. Where is the rooster? Get him in there. He should have been playing.

Speaker 7

Ohh fries them get it.

Speaker 10

In the bean rind string.

Speaker 1

Is in the bean, so. You know about the rain string.

Speaker

All right.

Speaker 1

You don't. You know about the rain stream. So in the in the midst of Australia trying to hold on and win this game, it was ******* down with rain on and off. So our chanise, Stan versus Bangladesh. If Bangladesh one and Mitchell Lewis, Bill Dukoff is going up and down, up and down. So wickets we're in front. We're behind. We're in front. We're behind.

Speaker 12

Maybe I don't know. What that means? Oh yeah, OK, yeah.

Speaker 7

Yeah. Yep, Yep.

Speaker 13

Yes.

Speaker 1

A gentleman was coming in to ball and Gulab NAB was standing at first slip. The guy was running up to ball. He was standing at first slip and he did a string. He was on the ground holding his leg. Ohh, stop the game. I've hurt my string. The coaches in the stands going slow it down. Slow it down and the players standing at first slip store saw him clutched his hammy and fell to the ground.

Speaker 9

Wow.

Speaker 12

Only player in history. To do a hammy and then. Bowl fast paced 2 overs later and get a.

Speaker 10

Wicket, when they won that and when they won, he was doing sprints around the ground.

Speaker 7

What happens to the best of us?

Speaker 12

We'll we'll show.

Speaker 1

You up. It's terrible in the bin in the bin. So Peter Dutton's in the bin again. So Peter Dutton is having a stinker at the moment. So he came out. If I can read my writing and said.

Speaker 13

Yeah. OK.

Speaker 1

People that do coke all it says is you have too much money and you're just wasting it, he says. People with Cokes should basically be locked away. It is a party drug. It is too much. It is the gateway to a load of crime. This week, Peter Dutton's son was on the front page of the paper, caught with a bag.

Speaker 7

Oh no.

Speaker 12

Looked like a bag of of baking powder to me.

Speaker 1

It might have been the Wayne Gary anti inflammatory but one one.

Speaker 7

Ohh yeah yeah, crushed up. That's just the best way to take it.

Speaker 1

Pipers don't have a crack at the kid. It's his fam. Like it's got nothing to do with him or because his. Old Man's a peanut don't have a crack at him, so.

Speaker 7

Very poor. If it was no one else.

Speaker 1

If any human thinks getting a photo with a bag is a good idea, what is wrong with you in the bin? If you do that stuff, that's fine. Don't need to take photo, it's mental.

Speaker 7

Silly.

Speaker 1

Again, we're at a stage where the tribunal is so far in the bin it's a skip bin. What is happening? What is happening, Dangerfield. Speed. Speed ahead into the turf might have an imprint of paint on the head. Yeah, or the the yellow or the blue and red from the AFL logo.

Speaker 7

The 50 metal.

Speaker 1

He sat there at the Tribune for 40 minutes, thought he was a politician, thought he was in the Supreme Court doing a filibuster. He was sitting there spewing absolute rubbish and they were eating it up. He openly admitted he pinned both arms of Sam Walsh, drove his head into the turf and he. He said that was my bad. I could have released an arm. I made a blue there. He's just admitted to the exact action that he got suspended for and he got off, Paul explained.

Speaker 12

Well.

Speaker 1

Not that you're not that you're a court lawyer, but.

Speaker 12

Line. Much like the justice system, it's ******. Yeah.

Speaker 1

I just don't understand how that gets off. Jesse Hogan punches a guy in the face, gets off Harley Reid, Sling tackles, a guy, gets 2 weeks.

Speaker 12

Charlie Cameron's a good bloke, but Tom Barrass is. Not a good bloke.

Speaker 1

Exactly. Charlie Cameron's a good bloke. Tom Barrass, isn't Dangerfield can talk for 40 minutes and the tribunal loves him and he gets off and he's the PA president. So he's in with all these people.

Speaker 12

Just a coincidence that.

Speaker 1

One ohh Lord, it's just in the bin. It's a **** show and I know since I says you can't even talk about it. Can't think about it, but you have to. It's a legal procedure. People are earning a **** tonne of cash to be employed to get these people on or off. It's much like on the great nobody knows.

Speaker 7

That's true. No one knows. Yeah. Will never ever know.

Speaker 1

That's me. Done anything you wanna put in the bin, Paul?

Speaker

Good.

Speaker 12

No.

Speaker 10

You're sure that's? Here's your opportunity.

Speaker 13

App.

Speaker 12

Anyone Scott Brown's bashing of the Eagles?

Speaker 7

I'm pause.

Speaker 12

In the bin.

Speaker 7

I've got alright.

Speaker 1

Actually I was there and he did cop it.

Speaker 12

So no, look, look, no, no, our fans aren't great. I admit that. Yeah, I'm just encouraging you to have an open mind and realise every club has fans. Like, yeah, we have a lot, but every club has fans.

Speaker 7

I think that. No, I'm with you. Yeah, I'm with you. But if I support.

Speaker 1

You have some supporters like Anthony Maravilla.

Speaker 11

If you if.

Speaker 12

If you go, if you go over E over east and go to a A in front of a a very passionate Carlton or Collingwood fan base and act like a doughnut, you'll cop it as well.

Speaker 7

I support like you're supporting, yeah. That's true. Ohh yeah, like terrify me. Yeah, I I feel like I only get stabbed there here, I think. They're just gonna. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How dare you.

Speaker 1

Throw some shade.

Speaker 12

You might get a bit of wine.

Speaker 1

Or maybe you'll cut a budget to the head, like Jaworski from the Eagles, Nana.

Speaker 7

The old lady anyway, we'll move on.

Speaker 10

Anything from you, Scott, the bin.

Speaker 7

Ask me next week if I go to the Hawks game. I reckon I might be able.

Speaker 1

OK.

Speaker 7

To fire off again.

Speaker 1

If you want my jumper, you got long sleeve. You can look like a bit of it.

Speaker 9

It's not my team.

Speaker 7

No, I'm going to buy a scarf. I'm trying to collect all the scarves.

Speaker 1

I think I I did have a scarf, but Mrs Carr subscore it.

Speaker 7

I plan on getting quite intoxicated, so I'm gonna lose it. Anyway. Let's let's have a laugh.

Speaker 1

OK. Nice love. Ah.

Speaker 7

I'm glad you said your jokes. Not very good, Paul, because that.

Speaker 1

Will fit in perfect. Mine is terrible. Mine is terrible. Last night I had a nightmare. Or was it a dream I had. It was a nightmare. I had a nightmare. Disco was coming back first. I was afraid. Then I was petrified.

Speaker 7

Mine's not good either. This one.

Speaker 10

Ah.

Speaker 7

Should have sung it. Sing it. Paul actually know you go last because you gotta you gotta deliver us the goods.

Speaker 12

Oh no.

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah. And don't talk about archaeologists and tampons like cost did.

Speaker 7

Hell yeah, don't do that. Do you know that apparently 30% of owners let their pets sleep in their bed? I tried it but my goldfish died.

Speaker 1

Ah.

Speaker 12

That was alright.

Speaker 13

What I thought BA.

Speaker 12

'S kids might be listening tonight.

Speaker 1

So you could say you could get, you can give them like no, but.

Speaker 12

It's cool. We've got some claim on, but no, no, it's clean. OK. Why is milk the fastest thing in the world? It's pasteurised before you see it.

Speaker 10

Ohh yeah, you're laughing before you finished.

Speaker 7

How long are you long? And. Quickly before we finish, shout out to Michael Duckworth, can you come find me at some point, possibly tomorrow, or send me a message? Remind me he won Friday Footy Frosties last week.

Speaker 1

Did he? Well, I'll see him on Saturday. He'll be at the game.

Speaker 12

Yeah, I thought it was to talk. About Nick hind.

Speaker 7

Who? Who? No. Because he did win. There was only two entrance. It was him and cars from the 444444. All about football.

Speaker 12

Big boy.

Speaker 1

Cobbs yeah.

Speaker 7

Took us so he won.

Speaker 1

Does Ducky deserved to win after his performance last weekend?

Speaker 7

You know, I don't know, but we'll we'll discuss. Maybe I'll give him a $25 anyway. Anyway. Paul, thank you for.

Speaker 1

Nah. Sort him out.

Speaker 10

One for each not. Thanks for coming up. Boy, how'd you find thanks, boys. Centre pod experience. Was fun.

Speaker 12

Thanks. Good to be on. Excellent.

Speaker 7

Always good to have a listener on if you want to come up, let us know.

Speaker 1

Anything more you want to add about my actions last weekend before we finished?

Speaker 7

Chris, next time we have three conversations with the guests that they're coming on. Try to remember at.

Speaker 10

Oh, I I can't help it, Scott, you know.

Speaker 7

Least one. Right. We'll see. Next month.
