[ Pause ] [ Pause ] [ Inaudible ] the way.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the channel.

My name is Jesus.

I'm here with Brownie and this is your front center podcast.

You're home.

I'll be betting both sorts of bands.

Since 2023.

How are you Scott?

I'm a right.

That was a shocking week.

Well, a weekend.

Now, just before because he can't even say he's probably listening.

I did miss one.

Michael Misicos.

Yeah, that's right.

His full name.

He did win.

The only one that won right and I couldn't find any audio at the end of the game everything I could find stopped at like Five minutes.

Yeah, I was horrible.

So it's like coss you got a winner.

He was the only one that got away So what I don't cost what it was a tough tough tough day at the office and as we said when the track bias comes in and we're all on back markers that doesn't help and when you're on Horses that don't lead they do lead that doesn't help and you and the beast have aligned and you've got a coach sack so that was good around here and yeah, it was just Hard hard beat stars got close his his jockey went too slow, but look hey we had fun.

Yep.

Hey, and we're still here And there's always next way always this week so and speaking of this way what?

Where do we start?

Where do we start?

There's too much going on - I don't know what to start. - Where do we start?

Where do we want to go?

Where do you want to go first? - Let's, let's go. - Obviously, we know we're going to talk about stuff.

The bin is the bin. - The chocolate block. - No, we've got skip bin.

We're at the tip.

We're in the tip this way because there is so much junk that's happened this way that could throw in the bin.

We have to discuss topics.

We can't escape them. - Yeah. - But oh my lord, West Coast Eagles supporters.

>> Yes.

So, yes, there is.

So, West Coast Eagles supporters got to be upset.

>> They've got to be upset or they got to be upset?

>> They've got a bit.

I don't know.

We need to discuss that when we get to footy, but before we do, just to brush over quickly as well.

So, I am now worried about any function I have. - I'm worried about any function I've ever been to.

And I think the footy club's getting canceled.

I think we're all getting canceled 'cause it's been, all right, my name's Cash, my buck's too, ah!

And that's all I'm saying about that. - Well, who knows?

Maybe there was some CCTV footage on the boat.

Who knows? - Yeah, and when we get to that area, I was shocked at what you told me anywhere.

But the... - I think we're all cancelled.

We can't do anything.

We can't have fun.

We literally can go to work. go home and if you like me you go to the gym and if you like Scott you look after your kids and that's it.

You can't be anymore.

You'll probably offend people even if you do that.

Probably.

Probably.

The trade way.

As long as you're not getting dressed up as a certain person, boy can your kids around?

I think you might be okay.

Trade week was just, there was a lot happening.

No there wasn't a lot happening.

That was the thing.

There was nothing happening for a week and a half and then 15 minutes. 20 minutes.

There was a lot happening after. a lot of nothing for Yes, so 10-day trade period which again, we'll get to when we three days is enough.

Let's be serious apparently 20 minutes is it?

You need a bit of time to sort your stuff out.

Yeah, but in reality they try and look for TV.

Yeah, who's sitting there watching the TV?

Yeah, if you're watching trade radio trade radio for 10 days, then I think You need to find something else.

I agree.

The only thing worse than that is the BBL draft.

That's the worst thing I've ever seen.

That has happened.

Yeah.

So there's a lot going on there.

There's some crickets been happening as well.

That's your drop something.

Yeah, well, India just got bold out for 46 by New Zealand.

So they're going fantastic, which is good for us because they're coming out.

We've got them in what?

A month?

Yep. and madness.

The 2526 ashes was just announced as well.

We've got the first test again.

So, at the end of no fear.

Exactly.

And no one's going to come again.

And we're going to get called to lose the test again.

So, I don't know why we've now acquired this first test when it always used to be Brisbane.

I think the fact Brisbane want the day night so they go back a test and we've come forward a test but don't have it on a Wednesday Thursday because Everyone's got school school is not so it's starting on a Wednesday.

No, it's a Thursday.

Okay.

Yeah, so I can handle that There's a lot of yeah, I don't know. - All right, I said it a Sunday Monday, Tuesday, so it should be. - I just don't think Test Match cricket should start until school holidays start.

Just simple, because you want to take the kids there and you'll get a bigger crowd then.

But hey, I speak as someone who gets only those holidays.

Other people if they really want to go. can take other holidays and days off.

So you get a lot more holidays than I do.

That's true.

There's a lot of MBL to talk this week.

It's literally the week of a shite show.

Yes.

There is amateur hour everywhere in Australia.

No one is immune to amateur hour.

It is especially here.

Oh, we invent amateur.

Hey, but our amateur hours improve your button pressing is a lot better And I think from where we were about 50 episodes ago.

We're a much better listen to now.

So I agree - Yeah, it's only taking 90 episodes, but it's got, it's got, it's got his game.

But there's just so much. stuff happening.

Twitter today, you just couldn't put your phone down.

Because there's stuff we're not going to talk about that blew up this morning, blew up Twitter, Elon's blowing up everything, Trump and Kamala are blowing up everything.

It's...

There is just so much happening.

There's other stuff like that is terrible stuff that is happening as well where we're lucky We don't have any part of that sort of part of the world, but it's you know, I know what you're going to this is funny.

He's it's just like What is happening is it is there like a permanent moon at the moment some super mad moon and everyone's lost their mind?

Maybe that is what's happening.

I'm not sure but yeah as you mentioned earlier, there's people getting this act in India all this We're about to get to what else is happening in the end?

But what we need to do is we all need to calm down and there's one thing that can just help us out and I think this is going to help us get through this podcast.

You think so?

Oh, mate.

The ingredients are the best.

There's a lot of stress at the moment.

Everyone needs to just relax and make yourself feel better.

Yeah, and this is a great way to make yourself feel better. - Do you know what, looking at this now, I'm nervous that we've already had this. - I don't think we've had this type with this brand of beer, we haven't had this actual beer.

So we've gone to freestyle brewing, so they're based out in Basindeen, and when you're broader, you know, it was a bit, uh, shots out, well, it's out there, so.

It's gots back to the fluoro, the fluoro can people, so you can see that there.

So it's a check, check one too, IPA, freestyle brewing.

So 100% family owned and operated independent brewery.

It is ingredients, water, WA grain, hops and yeats, no additives, no preservatives, unfiltered.

Freedom is freestyle, be cool, keep cool.

Handcrafted 3, 12, Alastair, Bassan Dean, WA and there's a lot happening, there's a mic.

There's some speakers, there's some notes, there's some check, check one, chew.

So IPA, look, if the cans is fruity as the artwork on the front, we're in trouble, and obviously they've gone down the sticker path to put on their, their, their beers.

Must be a cheap way to do it, sure.

Well, I thought that's probably cheaper than getting all this gear put on the cans.

So, all right, I did open one earlier and did spill on my couch, so we'll see how this goes. - Oh, that wasn't too bad. - That was alright.

Good.

He's learning.

I said I've trimmed the nails, but we did open the other one earlier. - It's a long thin can. - Yeah, maybe that helps.

Maybe it's the small cans that I'll struggle with.

Oh, oh, there's a bit going on there.

That's what it is.

We've had IPAs.

That's a lot fruitier than IPAs we've had before.

So it's 6.5.

Oh, I did miss that.

Sorry.

6.5.

We've got a big can too.

So it tastes to me.

It tastes a lot stronger than that.

We've had a 10% of before.

Yeah, I think it's the fruitiness.

This packs a lot of fruit punch.

Uh.

Oh, yeah, that's yeah, that's too fruity for me.

Where do we sit here?

Oh, look, it's better than a rainbow sherbet.

So I'll go there.

It's probably a four.

But snow globe was all right.

Cool cat was definitely worse than a cool cat.

Better than a rainbow sherbet.

Was it not as good?

You don't think it was as good as Charlie the unicorn?

Oh, look, the unicorn. - Yeah, I think I'm gonna go for. - Yeah, okay. - Fox Friday. - I don't mind it. - It's a lot of fruitiness though. - As in, no, as in, I don't mind your score there. - Yeah. - It was just a very powerful hit. - Yeah, it definitely was. - I feel like this is one that might, as you super weighed it.

It'll grow grow maybe not I think I do like a nipper a new England IPA better than an IPA, but hey It's a beer and well that is definitely not true a beer is definitely not a beer considering you had the bonbier the other week Yeah, that was not, that was not. - Oh. - When is a beer, not a beer?

When it's a bombier. - That is bad. - That is bad. - You're probably at a pickle beer. - It's not a beer. - Oh, lord.

We still have to find the pickle beer, the chili pickle beer milky. - Yes. - When I did go down to Bunbury, I was meant to look for the chili pickle beer, but that obviously, we got sidetracked.

Didn't happen. - Just a little bit. - Just a little bit. - Just a little bit. - It didn't happen. - Yeah, so you four, four, the check, check. - Four for the check one two. - All right, well check one two three, four out of 10. - Now, where do we want to go here?

Do we want it, 'cause last time I stopped. - Well, question time first. - We'll go questions. - Did you get the one I sent, yeah? - I did, I'm prepared for that. - All right. - It's a good one.

I think it's very good. - Yeah. - Yeah, either a hundred percent in or a hundred percent out.

There's no in between. - It's very good.

I've got some very good answers as well.

I always ask work. - Yeah.

We'll see whatever else things for questions. on this way. question time open up your mind and let people know what you think. - It's one of the better ones there. - That was pretty good.

That was pretty good.

I was watching you and I can only see your eyes over the, over the, it was a bad. - So I'm pretty happy with it. - You know why it was good?

Because when the cuts out. - Yeah, I lose my sense of sense. - Correct.

And then you go, you get nervous because I can actually hear you.

But when it does it, you're just boom, power straight through. - So, I know what it was, but who sent it through? - Pencil, pencil sent through.

So shout out to Pencil, caught up with him on the weekend.

I had a good few beers with him and the crabman.

So there was a good catch up.

Crabman is one of the loosest humans you'll ever meet ever, but he's good value.

Love the crabman.

So pencil wants to know and he wants to know from all the people out there and from us because I'm interested to see what your response is here.

Yeah.

We're talking a loaf of bread here.

So when you get a loaf of bread, this is kind of a two-parter, so I might have added on that. - It probably have. - It's kind of a two-parter.

So do you use the, I guess you call it the butt end or just the crust end of the bread as the lid to keep your bread fresh or do you throw it away immediately?

And the second part which I wanna add on is at the end of the bread.

Do you just throw it away or do you eat it?

Yeah.

So I think the word pence is do you use the craft as a shield?

A shield?

Yeah.

A shield for your bread.

Yeah.

That's a better way to put it than a lid.

Yeah.

And yeah, I'm all about crust, so I'm a crust player. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a crust player.

So what I will do, I'm not a big bread eater, but if I have a loaf of bread, I take the crust out, and eat all the bread in the middle, and then I eat the two crusts at the end. - To be honest, I'm shocked, but I don't know why, because I feel like thing I was gonna do. - Oh yeah, 100%.

So we've got a lot of feedback here.

Irvine said he's a crust player, he loves the crust, he likes it.

Now, Starr says, He has a family of himself and his daughters and he is the only crust eater.

So he loves the crust, he's the shields.

They have lots of bread, he just sons have crusts all the time.

So, hold on, are you using the crust as toast or are you just eating?

Yeah, so you are definitely.

You're not just eating like this crust with some bread. - No no no no no no.

I'm not, so I'm a, you know how they have that picture of how do you like the toast and it's like completely white and they're completely charcoal?

I'm probably, if Tanny's charcoal, one is white as like bread, I'm a nine. - Yes, thanks. - I like things cooked, I like charcoal, and I am, inch-think veggie might slather that bad boy on.

And when you get the crust, you, 'cause no one you get your bread, when you get the crust, you can snap 'em.

And you snap 'em like that, and it's closed, and you go, "Num, num, num, veggie might that thick, come at me." - I understand it.

I am, I don't, I throw the crust away.

I use it as a shield, yes. - Yeah. - 100% of it does not come off that top piece of bread, at all, and then when you're-- - And as it goes, all the way down. - All the way down. - So you're like me, but when it gets to the end, I eat them. - Yeah, so you know.

I just throw them out and I actually did think of something today that I was like what I could do with them And that's like create like a nice herby breadcrumb to John's pasta, but yeah, um friend of the podcast carbs John Carbon For for all about football if you want to head over and here's some soccer chat - He had one where he goes, uses the crust.

But what he does is he always uses the crusts for a toasty and a toasty cheese sandwich. - Flip it up? - Flip it up? - Yeah, flip it. - I get that.

I do get that because-- - I was like, that's a game changer. - No, yeah, I get that because sometimes when you're doing toasts, I've got the four Jaffal Maker there.

You have a bread emergency.

And if you've got to, you've got, that's 100% what I do, you flip it.

And you obviously just got it hard to manage all your ratio of ham cheese whatever you put in there because if it's too Cross that way there's a lot going out, but you just got to really just manipulate Bangs right down.

It's a lot harder sandwich press.

It's easy with the jaffa because it's got the obviously the wedges It goes everywhere so it gets very messy - Yeah, good.

I see.

Now these are the other responses I got as well.

I also just quickly got a, the first thing I do is eat the crust. - Yeah, that's fair. - And then I take a few pieces of bread out and put the rest in the freezer and put the other pieces in like a Tupperware container for bread. - Okay. - And everything else is toasted out of the freezer.

It's a elaborate situation happening there. - Yeah.

I'm not a regular toast. toast or bread eaters so mine definitely goes in the freezer and then I also got yeah love it just similar to yours toast it Just butter on it.

Yeah, you get the crunchiness 100% I'm a big crunch.

Oh, it's why I like my pizza I like the thin and crispy rather than the deep pan because you get the You get the crunch.

I'm a big crunch player.

That's a great question.

It does a very good conversation.

It does.

You just get to find out how weird some people actually are.

Almost it is of course who stands up and wipes his arse apparently.

"I am an arse cus that's not how he said the question in arse no very angry at the gym tonight.

Aah, brownie puts in my question."

He wasn't happy by the way.

"Shut up, cus, I was..."

I got away at the bowl.

It's got for an hour on Saturday quickly and I was walking back and I was like, "Ah, see if Crossroads is going down late out once boys are asleep."

Not expecting him to say yes.

He said yes.

We're down there till about a quarter to eleven I think.

We're honestly to leave.

And that normally we get kicked out about 9.30.

Yeah, so we last did you get some free to kill him?

No, I was offered.

Thank you.

Oh, I was pretty well boozed.

We're at the awards night for the footy club.

Fantastic night.

Well, run by the footy club was a great night out.

Got to see some fantastic people who I don't get to see all the time during the year.

And yeah, it was a good good.

Yeah.

I wish it kind of had it been this week.

So I could deal with a lot more West Coast.

Nothing.

So I was sitting next to. one of the best in poorly cab and I really wish I could have had a good deep discussion with him about what happened this week.

Any awards won from yourselves?

No, definitely not.

Don't play enough games and I'm literally just a... leading goal, can you?

No, no, please. - Well, as I think one throw, he got, letting goal kick and play the finals, and run up B and F, so. - That's a solid F. - Yeah, he went up, to be fair, I think he kicked all of our goals in the finals, so that's a fair effort.

He is a very good player. - I do remember when I came.

Was that this year where I played? - No, it's like two years ago. - Yeah, yeah.

That was last year. and I was just standing in the girls who were like, "Yeah, you go, Razz."

He's a very fast human.

So good on your ass.

Well done.

So good question time, beer, sort of, tic-tac this.

Now there's just a lot of discussion happening here.

I've got three pages of notes today and there's so much written on here.

I can't read any of it.

I think I would have gone with more if I was writing in the same.

So I'm glad I didn't.

But let's first of all, let's start. - Go back to our normal order. - Yes, let's start with some embryo. - No, we're up. - Let's talk some while. - Now, we've got to chuck in some others. - We're going back to last week because the cats haven't played since last Thursday, their plans started a night.

So we kept this one over to talk about it and...

We're kind of back and put it this way.

I had a huge ride up here.

Yeah, and now it's out the window because of something else that came out today.

But.

Now, main man is back.

We don't know how long he's going to be our main man.

He is back. 35 points for rebounds to assist. 7 of 10 from the three point line.

That is what we have been missing.

Our other main man's.

Christian do little, no pinned up.

19.11 rebounds for assist.

Then we had winlar, 13.3 rebounds, three steals.

And that's basically our guide.

So that's where I came last week.

And that's when I was like, he's so winlar.

I feel like he's super important to us because when he came back in that camp.

Yeah, when Webster's come back in, he's come back because they've both been out for games.

So he's come back in as well.

E-tarn, E-tarn, our man Suram, our man's are, 6.5 rebounds, 1 assist, web starts, 6 points, 2 assists, 1 steal.

So a lack of Ben 10, a lack of pepper, things are changing, but Cotton is back, I've given him 3 exclamation points, better shooting, 3 ball.

Our free throw shooting is waffle, it cost us the game.

First JJ's and nearly cost us this one.

We're shooting it like 63% the last two guys.

Oh, it's terrible And I've got here we nearly blew it again Yes, but we actually didn't nearly blow it because we'll get to something lighter and the main thing for me is our mix is still not there You know when really really cut it back last year and we fell really kicked off.

He's playing so many different lineups at the moment.

I think he doesn't need to...

Is he still trying to figure it out?

100% he is.

Because Pinder's been out, Windler's been out, Webster's been out.

He hasn't had the top team playing since probably the first game of the year.

And he's playing a lot of players, but he hasn't got the lineups.

I have no issue with the players that he's playing, but you need to get the match ups right.

I'm answer and pinder and everyone the call at the same time do you run with winlar do little cotton and pinder and one smaller?

Do you get bent and cotton with you know do little then our man sword you go smaller like he hasn't got like Jesse is getting no Minutes and then he's starting the next way just so just Is Jesse coming off the bench?

Oh, 100% 20 odd minutes.

No, I think he gets 15 10 to 15 and he him and higher in Harris So when the has to start they've got to go Webster Cotton when la do little and pinder to start with and then you have Harris and Wagstaff and Al Manse are coming in doing 15 minutes each.

Then you have Bentem and Pepper coming in doing 20 minutes each.

Because you need to rotate the smalls.

Do you like what he's saying from Pepper?

Because I think he's talking.

He's talking cold man.

But he's not getting...

He's not getting the consistent minutes.

So when Webster was out, he was getting a lot more.

But then Bentem got more.

Ben Tan's defense isn't quite as good as what Peppa's is.

But Pepper is more an offensive threat than what Benten is, but he's a shooter, whereas Benten isn't the maneuver of the ball.

Which surprises me, because you look at him and you look at his defense and he's really strong.

And obviously, what do you say is a shooter? - Yeah. think of him as a like drive to the basket.

Yeah, Mitch Norton style.

Kind of I guess what Mato used to do.

Yeah, Norton did it more.

Yeah, but he's just a pure shooter mate.

Yeah, you should have.

That's the thing with Winler as well.

He's a shooter as well.

But do a little as the guy that gets the ball goes in the paint, takes a shot.

Happy days.

He hits those little jumpers.

But we need to get a mix right.

I still think there's a spot.

Harris is obviously taking a step back now because Winler has come into the side.

But.

We need more Jesse because he does things on the court that we don't get from other players like him and Harris are the heart and soul there the hustle like Harris is busting his rear end out there whenever he's out there.

Yeah.

And we need him and Jesse setting some screens for cotton to get him open but look they're still working out.

Seasons no I need gone for us.

But 14 home games.

Yeah, we it's sort of like the Kings the Kings have got a new lineup at the moment and they're taking time to gel as well Obviously Adams has been out for them as well, but obviously the form team at the moment is illawarra.

They're flying and and so are you night?

They're the two that are humming Brisbane hadn't won a game they came out in one their last two they knocked off New Zealand tonight as well So look they're starting to build Adelaide are also doing quite good as well.

So we can get New Zealand get back which - Which were around the first game, first game back. - Do you know when they land?

And because they've been yesterday.

So they must have straight from US to-- New Zealand, then to Brisbane.

The Brisbane, then New Zealand for Saturday.

So they haven't been home yet.

They're going straight to Brisbane.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's interesting.

And Taco is apparently with them.

Yeah.

So that's-- Yeah, yeah.

So I've got Taco-- big game versus NZ, off the USA.

Taco coming back question mark.

So we might be able to work in, but-- It's interesting.

The NBA Six Man of the Year is staying with Adelaide for the year.

So that makes them an automatic-- contender when they've got Trey Kell, Vassilovich, Benny Derosa, Humphreys and Harold, they are right in the mix.

Yeah, well he's in Trey Kell it.

Oh, he's in the water isn't he?

He went from Adelaide to Illinois.

This is Trey Kell and who did they have?

Harvey.

Harvey.

So I got confused because he was Adelaide so they've got, yep, that's my bad.

They've got Danny Danny Danny Danny days.

I think they've got I can't keep up so many new reports, but the biggest thing which It's I was gonna put it in the bin, but I've got a lot in the bin.

So this came out today.

Yes The mbl wishes to advise an incorrect score was recorded in the cans type hands perth wildcats game The final score should have been 91 to 87 and increase of one point to the winning side There was an error in process of handling the scores, which wasn't detected till after the game How?

And then fever rules say it can't be changed.

Fever rules 44.2 says, "When there is a certain correctable error, including errors in scorekeeping and failing to record a record or erroneous netty points, fever rules state, errors are no longer correctable after the ball becomes dead when the game clock sounds at the end of the game."

So at the end of the game, Do-Looter was trying to inbound the ball.

He couldn't inbound it and he held it for too long. and it went up the other rim. - Yes. - They had a shot to tie the game.

If that went in much like the Milton Doyle one, as it would have gone to overtime, we could have lost, and we should have won the game.

That was Sorengate all over again.

If that had gone on and we had lost, we should have got that game given to us.

You know what?

We wouldn't have, because the leg is out for us. - The rule says 4.4 or 4.2, 4.4 about football.

No, so yeah, that was a round start. - But the MBL, before I go, the MBL, Chief operating officer Vince Cravalli, we own an acceptor and take full responsibility for the error made.

We take this matter extremely serious and we'll continue to educate our personnel on the correct process and protocols.

Where's someone getting stood down?

Where's someone getting sacked?

Where you can't say you're the second best league.

In the world and dish up you can't even hit a button to score properly.

And no one can pick it up surely someone on the commentary can pick it up they all sit in the same area surely john really is got a quicker surely someone can pick that up.

Bush league early been so like the bins falls to get that out so that's outrageous.

It's a we should have won that game.

We did win that game.

We almost let him in.

We did later me just like we did with Tazzy But we look forward to we're going across the pond.

We're going to nozoland and we're playing them who lost the Brisbane to know The thing for us our problem is is this flood over we'll have some consequences.

Yeah penders back - Yeah. - Winlar is no guarantee to play.

Obviously the flight with the Achilles is getting better.

Webster is still not 100% either.

So before we go diving into Wildcats again a win, we want to see who rocks up on the day.

Jackson Cartwright is obviously on fire.

So we need a Webster, a Benton and a Henshoot, to really put some pressure. on him and obviously Bolden is one of their big signings they've got as well so we needed Kertal him but if Bryson do little play the way they did last week which should be enough for us to get the job done.

I did see during the week that McDowell White is playing in Europe he's actually doing quite well with limited minutes he's doing really well and I think for him as a player this will take him to the next level so if.

You've got something you're gonna play for us right now.

I do if this happens just this is the man who I want to get back in to cover this man So this is just quickly I tried to sniff but I snipped a bit earlier.

This is brass cotton with locky reed thanks to reach out to the community.

[ Silence ] - So that's what Bryce had to say about his car. - So you know what, you know that meme where it says, "Everything's fine," and he's sitting at the kitchen table in the house as I'm far?

That is how I feel right now.

We're telling ourselves, "Everything's fine, nothing's fine."

Because, If this was AFL, this would be Bailey Smith, he did his name before the season and he was already going to Jelong.

When someone says they're putting off contract talks to the end of the season, nine times out of ten it means one thing.

He's out the door.

What he did say though, which he did, which he plays on, he goes, "Perth will always be home for me.

I'm happy here, no matter what happens, Perth is my home."

And so, what that says to me is, as I precursored before the season started, I forget what pot it was, but we're going to tweet that to the cows come home.

If it happens, we don't want it to, obviously.

I've got a feeling he might want to try and crack one more big contract whether it's a one or a two-year deal in in Europe or Asia and Then he can always come back Obviously, he's never gonna be an Australian citizen ever which is a criminal, but it's we have to move on.

It's just it's just great could have used him at the Olympics model.

Yeah, it would have been handy.

It would have been handy and have a shooter.

But anyways.

Yeah, look, I'm I'm more than 60 40.

I'm 66.66 to 33.333.333.

He's got I think he's more gone than he's staying.

But did brass cotton not do this in in his last contract talks and say he's gonna hold off, and I'm pretty sure-- - He definitely didn't sign it at the end of the year, because-- - Yeah, it was before, so what happened-- - Just before this-- - But what happened, there was one, from memory, this might be the one before, but don't quite me.

Hey!

got out of his contract.

He left because he won. - Is that COVID times? - No, I think it was after COVID times.

He wanted better money.

So he left and then we will, oh no, his contracts turn up, he's going.

And then about two weeks later he'd resigned a contract for more money.

I'm pretty sure that was the last one, but that was before the season.

Okay, this is in the season and he's saying is putting off contract talks Nervous we need we don't we need to do next cat's game, which is Friday week.

I believe yeah?

Yeah, yep I think so yes next Friday.

Yeah next Friday.

Yep Friday week next Friday's tomorrow Bye.

That's tomorrow.

Yep, that's Friday.

So next wildcats game we need to go down to the players with our I get messy for Jesse shirts and we go brass You stay we'll make a shirt and we're gonna put we'll do a surprise.

Yeah That's what he wants.

Exactly.

Well, I think we'll know what classes twice is nice.

Well, no, no, you know, we'll do it.

We'll tell him you give us a slow go Yeah, we'll put it on our shirt and we'll get your head on there Yeah, I've been.

That's going to be the kicker to get him to stay.

I'll get rotten for cotton.

Where was that?

That's the start of the year.

Well, you did say that we didn't want to go for Bryce.

We did want to pick a piece of pie.

Yeah, and Jesse's last seed.

So we've got to go.

We've got to go have a chat to Jesse.

But I think that's what we've got to do.

Mark Arena has to pull out.

Macarina has to do his dance moves and literally make it happen.

That's what he needs to do. get his arms around Bryce and do whatever he needs to yes, Bryce, whatever you need.

It's more who do you need, who do you want and we'll just go sign him.

As I said last week, I don't mind Withers either.

I think he's a good little...

Withers?

No, Withers from the SPL.

Yeah, and I'm old, MBL1.

Yeah, so he's out now, because he was only covering Wither and...

Oh, was it?

Yeah, so he's a replacement player, so he's now out.

So...

I liked him.

Well, he had a crack, and he was, again, another person comes from MBL1, straight in the starting fire.

What he's having...

I'm very confused, my Lord.

Oh, I'm sorry.

That's how many of you talk about some...

There's one more...

Yeah, so, yeah, they have.

So, these are the Australian players, and that when obviously went number two...

Yep.

The number one player of Australian young kid who is the highest is Blocko.

Yeah, which intrigues.

I know it intrigues me to Blocko's 24.

Yeah, so there is a gentleman and Australian kid called Proctor who plays for Duke.

He is 28.

Yeah, Alex to his 35 and I'd rather take Alex to a over Blocko.

Yeah, but I guess they see Blocko's tour.

He can do some stuff tall guys automatically.

Jimmy Hay.

I actually thought he was a lot. - I thought younger than 24, that's surprising. - No, no, no, no, this is where they're ranked in the top 100. - Oh, I can, yep, sorry. - 'Cause Alec, two E is not 35.

This is the top 100 draft ranked. - Yeah, I knew two E wasn't 35, but I thought you said Blocko was 24. - No, so he's 24, number 24. - Yes, yeah. - From 28, 24. - Two is like 20.

So, nine and eight. - E 10 is 51.

Bet. - I'm sold on him. - Well, he's not getting the minutes that Alex is our got.

And he's, you gotta remember he's young.

He's really young. - Yeah. - And, He needs to work in his shop.

He is not the defensive presence that Sar was but I still think he's good enough to make an NBA Ben 10 is 57.

That's good.

Yep.

Marquis Lewis is the next star for the Phoenix He's 76 and Lachlan Ulbrich from Illawarra is 86.

I found that make good on him if he's in the top 100 Good luck.

Travers was doing a little bit in the preseason for the Cavaliers as well.

He's doing okay.

He's gonna start.

Yeah next week, maybe.

He's getting limited minutes, but he's doing things.

He's an impact player.

So I think there's a spot from the NBA.

Just put him in for five minutes.

Go hard then.

And the Cavaliers probably suck.

I don't know.

It's so hard to keep up with trades. - Yeah, the old school used to be like, they were together for a lot longer than now. - It's all about the money. - Yeah, let's make lots of money, which we gotta bring that.

We've got the cards back soon, so. - Oh my god. - I need my card to be fixed first, and then I'll go on. - How's that going? - I'm taking it back to John Hughes.

So shout out to John.

I'm taking my card there, so I hope you can fix it. - Thick park? - Yeah, that's where I got it from.

And they said they can make and help deal with Hyundai. - Okay. - Do you not want to contact me?

I contact them with phone calls, nothing.

So hopefully it can get all fixed, but we shall go from there.

But anyway. - John will give you a shout out. - Yeah.

So listen, there was a lot going on there.

There's strap yourselves in because I don't even know where to start here.

Maybe we got to start now. - I know where to start.

I know where to start.

I'm just going to tell you all the trades that happen. - Well, let's talk some food. - What do you want to do?

Do you want to go through trades, or do you want to go who, sort of, who gave what and who got what? - Just go through trades.

Go through, a lot.

So what I want to do maybe not next week but week after.

We can talk a bit more footy and we can talk some draft.

I've started watching some under 18 games from earlier in the year.

I've written down a few names. 'cause there's a lot of draft picks. - Not many WA boys this year. - No, and correct me if I'm wrong.

And I probably am, but I feel like draft picks can still be swapped for a few weeks. - No, draft night, you can do live trading.

'Cause that's how Hooks got wetter.

We traded up to get wetter. - Yeah, so picks can't be swapped from now on. - Now it's done, until draft night, and then you can trade on draft night. - I have this weird thing that I thought, - Well, that's what pigs could.

Anyway, run through what we got. - Okay, well there's lots happening, and there's lots of pigs, so just bear with me, so I'll try and rattle those out.

So, Brisbane Lions got 32, Tigers got 42, 43, 45.

Happy day, actually that's a line.

Brisbane got that, Tigers got 20. - Yes, with it, yep. - Yeah. - Jesus. - Demons got 46 crows, got a future third, yeah, happy days.

Lions got 34 and 66, the Blues got 73 in a future second, so Blues getting points for Ashcraft. - Have a real. - No, sorry, that's Lions.

So Blues are getting points for really. - It's already Lions. - So I've got so much. - Yeah, I know, there is a lot. - Blues is underneath the X, I was looking at it.

So Lions are getting in for Marshall and Ashcraft.

Demons, nine in a future third. - Yep. madness.

So Essendon future first 28 40 46 54 65 so basically getting more.

That's Stevens wanted to get it correct.

He's got better stats on the wizard.

So just with that quickly before you go because I was so confused what they were doing.

And in August, the rules changed too.

Teams now, it used to be after pick 40, you could match a bid to your academy. - Or your next general, your father's son. - Yeah, yeah, if you weren't Gold Coast GWS.

But now it's any club can match whenever. - Yeah, you need picks. - Yeah, so when that were trading, Pick nine I was like what the hell are they doing?

But now that's why I'm asking then they were gonna That was just gonna be a waste to pick that they would have to use that on to get a cacko Yeah, so they might as well try to get a future first Yep, Melbourne are going the way that our next year probably better.

But so yeah, so blues got four day in hooks Got a future first in a future second savvy by us Demons got sharp and a future third, lines got 49 and a future third.

So, swapping future thirds pointless but sharp and 49.

So...

What the fuck is that?

It's a third spot.

Oh, this one it is, good luck to him.

Well, obviously it'll work out better for the lines because demons will be below them on the ladder.

But sharp obviously miles off getting a game in Brisbane, so it was emergency multiple times in the finals.

Good get there.

So the pies got Houston and pick 58.

Bear with me here.

The sun's got Noble.

Port Adelaide's future first.

Collinwood's future first and 39.

Port got La Cocius.

Joe Richards.

Rory Atkins 13 29 36 and 50 yep to quote the corn.

Ports trying to win the sandfall.

Rory Atkins what the heck.

That came from nowhere.

I was wondering what the hell or God co-salary dump.

That's what it is.

They're getting 400 K off their books Hardwick is setting them up.

They as Richie Newen said our sponsor son supporter He said they trade differently they have different rules that they play by because they get certain concessions and they have a salary cap which they still need to fix basically.

So yeah, the corn wasn't happy with that.

He's doing this Rory Atkins.

He's no Dan Houston at all.

He'll be playing Sam for foot.

He will not play a game for quite a lot.

They need someone.

They're back on stack.

I'm just saying he's no Dan Houston.

He's not even on the same planet as Dan Houston.

So the Tigers got 14 that he was got Baker.

Oh, he's 1273.

The Blues got 363. - Keep going because I need to go to the toilet because I wanted to say. - Well, I thought we'd want to go through this now while we're here.

So you go PSR can talk.

So this is what set the Nuffies. out of control.

So I had a friend of the podcast, Polycalf say he was distraught once this trade went through.

I had friend of the podcast Beast saying this trade has set us back three years.

I had friend of the Ponga stars go, I don't mind it.

Let's wait and see what happens tomorrow.

It's not that bad. friend of the podcast, Morrie, where this is chips in for Chad Warner, and they were some of the more normal supporters, not Pauli Cav, because he's distraught, but the rest of them were fairly comsee, comsar, some would say about it.

And I think they were just trying to find something positive. about it because they've had three top three picks in three years and all they've got out of that is gonna be Harley Reid.

So they could have, I know, this is just high perbole and what ifs, this is not me saying this is what they would have done.

They might not have picked up Harry Schiesel, they might have picked up someone else but in theory they could have had Schiesel, Harley Reid and say Finno Sullivan or Jagger Smith and that would be a midfield for the next. 10 years.

So my question for this is now, I am the first in the Liam Baker Bam Wagon fan club.

I think Milco's got your cupboard because he's a late grace boy.

So Milco's been on board longer than just about anyone.

Eighteens boy is one of my eighteens boys and I loved him when he got drafted, loved him before, loved him at West Perth.

So Milco probably.

Yeah, it was that Sousby by the way.

He went, he was at West Perth for a little bit.

Well, he was at Sousby playing Colts.

Okay, Sousby then, West Perth then got drafted.

I'm sure he went to West Perth.

I'm sure he went to West Perth.

Drafted from Sobie.

Anyway, it doesn't matter.

My question is, and this is a genuine question, right?

So don't worry about bikes for now.

Okay, we're both right.

So he played Art well unders at So it says on Wikipedia it says Waffle Club Suvieco, but it says when he was like And well under's like young young that was West Perth, but he played cults at soon you got drafted from Suvieco That's confusing.

Anyway.

So my question is, and It's just literally pictures I've been wearing a sous videographer rather.

Yeah.

I want West Coast fans if they can help me out here.

I don't think they can.

How does that trade?

I'm not having a go.

I genuinely ask this question.

How does that trade make West Coast better?

I love bikes.

I think bikes is a great player, but I and will to be fair always Right the second it makes them better.

Yeah, like they're gonna be better with Baker and always and they will be with a pick throwy next year but we're not talking. - Yeah, we're not talking, yeah.

In the few current houses, doesn't we? - So when you're trying to build a team around Harley Reid, 'cause you want him to stay, Finno Sullivan has played a bit of footy with him? - Yeah. - Wouldn't you want, they brought the milkman over. - Yes.

Why wouldn't you bring a guy who was sort of mates with that he might want to play footy with?

It's a confusing thing because I'm with you.

So I probably should have made myself clearer there because Baker can go role midfield and half back.

Him and you could swap for a bit.

They could all be in the midfield together.

So yeah, he can run through that and Oeze is another forward option.

So yes, right now.

How many small forwards have I got?

They've got stacks.

Yeah, it's a crime.

Yeah, Brockman.

Oh, he's.

I'm with you.

So that's my question.

What?

How does this trade making better in?

the future.

How does that make them a step closer to a flag?

Because I keep shouting from the rooftops that they have to still go backwards and they had pick three.

Exactly what you just said.

The bad three top three.

You can get someone in to support Harley to try and keep Harley.

Liam Baker is not going to keep Harley Reid here.

Well you never know, maybe they'll become best mates.

Maybe.

I don't know the footy club.

I don't know the ins and outs of it.

I have heard stuff from junior footy players who have gone to...

West Coast to train and what they think about West Coast and the club Which isn't good positive isn't positive.

It's very negative.

Well, I think there's no culture well I think that's changing obviously with McQuilter coming in so and as we said fresh set of eyes new outlook new game plan Yeah, I think things are definitely on the up, right?

Yeah because they can't get much worse.

But, well, I think they're going to.

Well, friend of the podcast time was here and that's seven wins apparently.

We've got to bet on it.

That's what he said.

We've got a bet on it.

So, look, I don't think...

We can judge West Coast until we see obviously all the hyperbole the nuffies as we said one of the nuffies said This is the worst day in my life.

It's even worse than my divorce.

So I that was quite funny.

I I Have an open mind here.

I would this is not the way I'd be doing it because as I said, maybe we can do what compared to market dot So we had eight picks in the first 24 Yeah. one pick in the first 24.

Clearing out all the players that don't want to be there and who are costing your stack of money, bringing in 26 to 27 year olds who some of them might have played their best football.

So that's Richmond you're talking about. - Correct. - 1, 6, 10, 11, 18, 20, 23, 24. - Yep. - It's a good way to rebuild. - Yep.

And who's always doing it the right way?

Going, I've got nothing to lose. - My fault.

Yeah. - Get rid of it.

I'm starting from scratch.

Bear with me guys.

Give me the keys.

I'm gonna take us.

I'm gonna build these players.

We're gonna be good.

Surrounding with some good people.

They still have bolt of I still have lynch they still have Toronto.

I'm genuinely surprised.

I didn't nank her Tom Lynch off.

Yeah, look They really have no forward line.

So yeah He's back.

He's the back line.

So they've still got broad and Floster and so the back line's okay, Gibcus can come back in.

But yeah, look, they're going, if you wanna rebuild, you may as well just get all the kids.

Look, let's be serious, they're not gonna hit all those picks.

They get five out of eight. - Oh yeah. - In three years time, they're gonna be pushing up the ladder.

And I had...

A lot of supporters saying, oh, you know, Hawkes I've achieved this year, they're not going to get much better.

Eagles interestingly took Hawthorne's picks, not Carlton's picks, and I had some back and forth with a few people.

They're like saying, oh, Carlton are top four.

They had all the injuries and they turned off.

I go, Carlton are here.

How much more can Carlton improve with the players that they've got that are playing at their absolute peak?

How much better can Crips, Kurno, Mackay, Chara?

How much better can they get when they're at right now?

Yeah, me, yeah.

Hawks might be here, but how is the scope on our list?

How much better can our players get when we've got a much younger list there on the up?

How much guys like Mackenzie, Ward, Wail, Ginnervan, Watson, we can improve.

We've got so much scope to improve.

The only thing to that is... the camper early twins are supposed to be pretty good.

Yeah but they're not good.

Yeah they're not going to make an intermediate.

Exactly.

And some players will be able to get the picks next year.

Right.

Yeah.

So I just think Hawks will finish Hardin Blues.

So before you continue on with that just shout out again just mentioning Richmond.

Good to do it now because what you've got one more uncopromised draft as a distance as he come in So it's very good time to be taking those pics and if teams want to come hunting you players Yeah, they're gonna have to give up a lot when you have a lot and the Eagles were talking about Matt Clark getting fired They were talking about going down to protest I've just ruined.

Pretty much my whole bin but.

At least I didn't do that.

That's all good.

We knew it was going to happen.

So, we knew it was going to happen.

So, line's got, line's got pick 27, Saints got 32 and I think that's 45.

Stringer.

Stringer.

We'll get to Stringer.

So Stringer deal was on, Stringer deal was off.

A certain event happened.

GWS canned it.

They sorted out their press release.

The trade was back on. 10 minutes ago to win trade period, they dropped said press release.

So no one's bothered about reading it 'cause it's right at the end of trade.

So they snuck that through. - Yeah, smart. - But yeah, the way J.D. was going, let's bring Stringer in for culture. 53 for that.

Well, there's going to get a game in the first two weeks, isn't he?

Jesus Christ.

Yes.

Crows got patelying for a future third and a future fourth.

That's a really good get for the Crows.

Yeah, for a... for his boy.

Yeah, correct.

JWS got a future second for that.

So, yeah, interesting.

He was a rookie draft.

Yeah, he's good though.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

So was Dean Cox.

Yeah, yeah, sure.

Yeah, Cats got Bailey Smith pick 45.

Dogs got Matt Kennedy pick 17.

Science got Jack McCray.

And we got rid of 45.

So basically we got McCray for 45.

But is he gonna get a gun?

I he I think under Ross he will because where does he play Ross like Brad Kratch Brad Kratch snimmy and play for you?

You reckon Brad Kratch out well, he's got a generative.

Yeah.

I know he so who was there for you?

I mean Zack Jones was there play.

Yeah, so he'll be going as well.

See you at his accent.

So you left Filipino steel luck wind hager I think McCrae can off the bench run through like him and still I guess you're most similar.

They're not similar players But yeah, it's still a hard nut mote.

Yeah McCrae for its hardest days of pasting.

Yeah, but he's the most similar there because winhag is a runner McCrae's not really - Right now. - Philippu's gonna be your guy. - Yeah, Philippu, yeah.

Yeah. - As long as he plays in the guards, as long as Roswell is supporting. - Yeah, and Blues got picked 38.

So North got Caleb Daniel, Blues got 25.

That's a massive overpay for Caleb Daniel.

But what it does, the reason why I like it, Caleb goes into the back line. - Certainly.

Number three is going to be nice. - I'm not going three.

I'm going my kircher.

Release my kircher up the ground. - This call me not playing much in the midfield.

Was he playing down backwards? - She's always up the ground. - Was he? - She's actually had a bit of forward line as well. - Yeah, right. - I'm half forwards. - Okay. - I think that's good.

I mean, he's an improvement on Darcy Tucker. - Yeah. - He's an improvement on Zach Fisher. - Yeah. - So I think he gets game time. - Fish is...

I think fish has been played out of position.

Well there's time back line.

That's what they got him for so Yes, Clarko knows best of them.

Yeah, how he does it speak in a clock.

Oh, they got Parker and Castanti who's a small 40 couldn't get a game at Sydney pick 44.

So they've literally brought in darling and Parker Caleb.

So they're obviously targeting people who are good trainers, good humans, and really want to work hard to push the standards of that football club.

Because they have a lot of pushing to do.

So Hawks got Barras and a future fourth.

Eagles got a future first, a future second and a future third.

Sons got Rioli, pick 51, 61, 17, 76, Tigers got pick 6 and 23, Freer got shy Bolton, pick 14, future third, Tigers got 10, 11 and 18.

Is that over?

It is, but it's nowhere near as bad as what they got, so basically they were saying give... 10 and 18 for Bolton, two firsts.

They've basically got flipped 14, 11, to 18, those two firsts, they're supposed to give 10 and 11.

They swapped 14 for 18, come forward four picks in the draft and got a future third.

I think if you're in the now and you're just a long mewer and this is contract year. give two first get the bloke in because you need him.

Walter's is obviously on his way out and you need a circuit breaker in that forward line and if you're in contract year and you're just a long mewer get me this player now.

Yes, very cool.

Fair enough.

And that is the trade.

So a few players didn't get through.

A lot of absolute rubbish spouted by a lot of people where a lot of Melbourne players were going to get traded but we've got the corn.

Yeah so this is flipping back to what we're talking about earlier with the Baker.

Oi's situation and...

The Corn had some opinions.

Yeah, and what some West Coast fans had to say to it.

And one big tall West Coast fan in particular.

[ Silence ] - Yeah. - So, but you listen to the West Coast Nuffies, I am Mr. Sensitive, oh she's was a mommy's boy, he never would have come over anyway.

Pretty sure you would have got a decent play at Pick 3, that even if it wasn't - And even if you took Harry Sheeze, or you got to think about market value when he wants to go back, that's the other thing as well. - Adam, Chara S. - Yeah. - So the thing that happened with that Bolton trade, they got one of those picks for Locky Shorts, one of those first round picks.

So when you're looking at that, you're giving up two firsts. or three first for a first back bolt in a third.

You're technically giving up two firsts and lucky shoots.

Doesn't look so bad when you put it that way, 'cause that's how they actually got that pick with training lucky shoots.

So, I mean, come see Kamsara again, better here nor there.

But that's the corn and look.

It is what it is everyone's entitled their opinion there is a lot of them the bin is going to be very ruined because we've spoken about a lot of things in the bin But look it's an emotive game the fans the Eagles fans have been down the bottom for three years and They've been hanging on for something and they want to see young talent.

They want to see kids And I think that not being an Eagle supporter and outside of looking in I think that was their frustration when they've been told This is the strongest draft in 15 years.

There are so many good young kids in there.

Yeah And we are deciding that now is the time to get older players, but Matt Clark is saying it's the deepest draft ever picked three pick twelve.

Like that pick twelve is normally this is verbatim pick twelve this year is as good as pick seven to eight in any normal draft. water load of wank that is. - Yeah, pick 12 is just pick 12. - So basically, you say that pick three is probably pick one then in a normal draft.

So you've basically traded away pick one.

So you didn't talk about pick three, what that might be.

You only talked about pick 12 being about seven and eight.

Going off that quote up, pick three is pick one, you muppet. - Yes, listen, just to round this off as well.

I love. - I love the passion though. - Yeah, the one thing I do love about West Coast fans is, how upbeat, how positive they are, how good they think they're going to be.

I guess you could say blind emotion of, it's our club, we're the best.

I love it.

I love that passion there.

It's just the Eagles, nothing's like.

It's going to love that because you've got to have those people in your club.

No, they have more than most.

But this was the Twitter viewing.

You've got Eagles supporters.

I don't want to go too much into the bin, but there are plenty of normal human beings, West Coast supporters, who see the game straight down the line.

There are plenty that don't, and a lot of those normal people were saying it is an embarrassment, and nuffies are a I got enough and they enough they enough harder than they've ever not before make a shoot out of that nothing's good enough It was good as a neutral it was amazing.

Oh, I loved it.

I absolutely loved it.

I I would And you know what?

We talk about the Tom Barasti a little.

Yeah, we did.

Okay.

It's probably not as bad like I don't like the brass deal.

I'm I'm on record saying we don't know it.

We don't want him.

He's had surgery five out of the last six years.

It's back cooked, isn't it?

Well, everything's cooked.

Yeah.

And we've given him five years.

I understand.

I understand.

If you've got a contractor player, you have to give them five years.

We probably overpaid a bit.

But.

If we're in the now and where we finished last year says we're in the now, we needed to correct.

Sorry, but I got that out.

Our biggest efficiency, which I've been saying for two years is our key backs and we've got battle and brass, which means we can have battle, brass, scrims short, sisily.

I don't want sis to play forward.

I'm staunch and that everyone's saying getting forward.

I'm happy in the back.

Yeah, well, he can't but I'd like those four on the back line with hard week in P Ha a little aim on and I'm happy with that, but by the by gives us flexibility and you know what?

I don't think he's played a full season ever in the AFL so he'll miss half the season for five years and it'll be a terrible contract But you know what creates good depth all he's got it all he's got to do Is be right at the right time of the year because we got destroyed by Hagen we got destroyed by Tomahawk We got destroyed by Tom Lynch.

We got destroyed by two meter Peter.

We need people to take these players and frost elicus is not it Good, so as I said before we started a lot of time when we started the footy You know, maybe not next week the week after we'll talk some draft.

I want you to do your prospecting I'll do mine as that I've got a few already.

I've spoken to the two that I like at the top-hander Jagger Smith and Fino Salvin.

They're my two guys.

They should be going top three.

Jagger Smith is the extracator.

Fino Salvin is the finisher.

So if you are in the top-end and you have a need for either of those roles pick up one of those two. you can't go wrong.

That in June I dropped it actually I think even earlier now dropped a name Josh Smilly I scored a smilly but it's smiley so Josh Smiley is his name.

But have just look out for him.

I he is definitely the guy that I have big wraps on this.

It looks like by Alan probably going to West Coast with. pick 12.

That's probably the player they have in mind.

Sid Draper looks good, Trivaggli looks good.

There is Plenty, Top End Cream in this draft.

And I, so all those names you've mentioned, I haven't even looked at the last boys yet.

Sorry, I've got a few, but we're here to move on because there's a man just how are we going for time?

We've been going for a bit there.

We're good, we're good.

There's a man waiting in the wings.

He hasn't been doing well lately.

We'll see what he's got.

Not a lot.

No stories when we would do it last week.

No, no, no.

No, no, no.

I'm just Jimmy.

I'm Jimmy.

Anyway, let's see what Jimmy's got this way. (singing) that's a lot of people are going to be able to do it. (laughing) - Good Jimmy. - All right, I do shout out to the point.

Didn't sound like he was driving sound like he was in our first podcast, a bit of the toilet area. - But he also like, it was, Much better already short sharp Chris to the point he I did ask him last week how his bets went because I don't pay attention and one of them Didn't even fight yeah, it's got caught yeah something like that so I always try and look for the UFC results and I hope I'm out and about and I'm near a pub I'll always try and I If I'm near Italy, I'll stop in the movies, or near the same.

I'll pop me over the Morris, that's called now.

I'll pop in there just to stick my head in to see how Tim's tips is going.

I couldn't find any on the weekend, but I did say on Twitter, one of his guys got knocked out.

So, look, we're looking pre-boost, but probably looking about Red Bull?

Can't a Red Bull? - That's all right.

That's all right.

That's kind of standard for Timmy.

Yeah, but look, he's gone straight back there.

Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle, Not sure that's gonna do the listener party, but hey, you never know if I had time I was gonna add a little something at the end of our next segment.

I've got something I'll bring it at the start for you, and I don't have an intro for anything so I'll go get into it.

Okay But hopefully this can supply us something towards.

We just need to do something.

We need to do better.

Oh.

Press on the video.

I got it so what I did was I asked a good night. - Yeah, Jack JPT's been updated by the way.

So I showed you something either last week or the week before I uploaded our logo. - Yes, you did. - And it was like, can you make this a thing, I changed it. - I changed again. - No, no, I need to show it to cost. - Oh yeah. - I need to put it up.

What I'll do is I'm up. - So much.

Put it, no, why don't you just change our Twitter feed to that?

Because it's much more like for us as humans.

Chatch-y-p-t, to be fair, the new one doesn't, the one we've got now doesn't look anything like you either.

But the one we've got now is not great.

That one was outrageous.

So I didn't know you could do this.

I uploaded the picture.

I knew I could upload pictures and then said, "Can you tell me how to make this better?"

And then pictures started formatting.

I was like, "What the hell?"

And it created us a new picture.

Anyway, so it's updated.

So you used to be able to say, "Hey, tell me how Hawthorn are going to go this year in the footy or something after I've asking all these questions and I would say sorry I can't help you I only go as far back as 2022 or whatever.

Yeah now it's been updated it knows all.

So I just simply said hey chat GPT.

Oh god.

Can you give me 10?

legs.

Yeah, so we don't need 10.

Yeah, I thought I'll chuck 10.

Oh, God.

So what I'm gonna do, we can't even get one out, we get one out of eight little own 10.

So what I'm gonna do each week for is I'm gonna chuck a chat.

GbT.

But how do you put in what it needs?

Like, I just said 10 of the bet like combined 10.

Yeah.

And I said the sports that were on.

So I said, MBL.

Yep.

Yeah. - A-leak. - Yep.

A-leak.

Please.

And E-P-L. - Why don't you just do N-F-L-N-B-L and... - Oh, I forgot about N-F-L. Oh my god.

We've never had a bet in the A-LEAK ever!

Anyway, the first one that gave me, I personally scrapped straight away, which I'm so glad I did, because it gave me New Zealand to be Brisbane. - Oh, yeah, that's done already. - And it was like no, because of the US stuff and coming back.

So what we've got here's what we've got here's the chat JB to know which I was gonna give you know the duff Have you ever heard the duff punk song that goes slash dot slash dot dot slash dot?

I'll pipe for you next week.

Anyway, it's a robot rock.

No, it's literally called slash dot.

Okay.

I'll show you I mean, anyway, so I'll tell you what we've got.

I assume that's some Morse code areas there.

Oh, yeah, some of that.

Central Coast Mariners.

I don't know nothing about ailing.

So this is going to be a total waste.

Don't worry.

I'm just fine.

That's why I'm going to just fire through this right Melbourne big through to win Sydney FC to win.

Illinois Hawks to win Tottenham Hotspur to win Arsenal to win willing to Phoenix to win Melbourne United to beat South East Melbourne.

Thank and he's in the MEL and Manchester City to beat Wolves.

So, Jimmy's dicks combined there.

I've tried 20 bucks on that for this and if that wins, what's the sort of area we've got?

How many goals did Buddy kick?

13! - So we got about 100 buddies. - Yeah, so that, yeah. - Yeah, it could say that.

So yeah, so that's just, I just thought I'd have some fun.

And you know what?

We couldn't get much worse from the people. - No, maybe that's what, maybe just give him. - This gets done, this ought to be everything. - Maybe give him NFL. - Yeah.

MBL, horse racing, Australian horse racing. - It's not gonna give you a horse racing. - But you never know, if it can give you a league, it can find you a moral somewhere. - If I'll ask it, who is the biggest moral? - What is your best bet of the day at? - Corfield Fleming's in. - Yeah. - I've got, yeah. - Not best bet.

Who is the biggest moral bet?

All right, so. - I don't know what moral is the moral of it. - So I've got a multitude of tips and there's one I'll straight up the bat that's going in.

So two of our learned friends are ever-lined.

So Mr. Sensitive has jumped on board and Himername's Cosses jumped on board. - Oh, Coss. - Yes. - A man.

So that is very loud cost.

So yeah, so they are jumping on the commandeers So yes, so cost is hit a bit of form and Sensei has jumped on board.

So the commanders are paying 124 they want the 150 line.

So I'll be going through Ah-uh-lads. alternate line, we're sitting at a round.

Now, next four, next 4.5 is $1.52.

So, put that in. - Okay. - Yep. - So, friend to the podcast, Irvine, has given us one.

So, he's gone MBL, he's gone to the throw down.

Mmm. - He's going United versus Phoenix.

He goes King, Phoenix a cast, let's be fair, they actually really are. - Yes. - But he wants the $1.50 line.

The problem is there is no $1.50 line.

It's a $1.60 neg, seven and a half.

So we might have to do some 365 calculations there.

Stars is back.

Oh, yes, hold on wait.

I've got to find that that's sad music.

We don't sad that's areas.

Yeah Alright, so Stars is back on the horses this week and friend of the podcast Milco has got Classic Rogue in again.

So Classic Rogue is in against our favourite horse, Captain Pluto.

Okay.

So we know what Captain Pluto does, it just doesn't win.

Stars is going to a horse called In Good Order.

It's one.

It's last two.

He wants it to win $2.50 I've got it on top in Podpart 2.

So we will put that in.

Okay, so we've currently got In Good Order win Command is one fifty line.

You know I was one sixty so we might have to three six five that What are you got?

Okay here is?

is.

Oh my God, hold on where are we?

Here's this.

How big is your lock?

Now I hate going NFL because as I said at the start, I don't know.

I think I'll pick one but I just don't like finding your audio for it.

So yes.

I am going to go to the Jacksonville Jaguars, a play in the New England Patriots.

On Sunday?

On Sunday.

Do you know where they're playing?

They are playing at Jacksonville.

No they're not.

Are they not?

Are they not?

Are they not?

Are they not?

Yes, see you can.

Oh, but they're both the word things.

Yeah, we generally disallowed that with the ballarat for Bulldogs.

Okay, well I'll throw this out anyway.

I didn't know.

Well, I did not know that to be honest with you.

I have been searching for a while and the first thing I did look at was was the Melbourne United. - Well you can align with, you can align with the line. - So that can be my backup.

But just so we know, Jackson Bill, and if it is in England, to be honest, I would rather them as well, because they played in England against the players. - Chicago smoked them. - Yeah, but they've been there.

New England would have just got there, hey? - Yeah, I'm D'Aision. on that.

I think that rule, like, then we haven't done the double away team.

We didn't do it for Ballarat, so I don't think we can do it there.

So I was going to look at APL.

We can give you United.

Let's go United.

I back United and if your boy can lift and go, boy, hey, my boy.

All right.

Now.

I'm torn because I've got one for NFL as well.

I need to get Natalie in really up here.

Yeah, you do because I do actually do I do listen to the pod and I actually do say that.

Yes.

I say interesting a lot.

Yes.

I say that you're taught.

Yeah.

So I'm you're not really Natalie.

So I'm.

Buffalo bills are playing Tennessee.

Tennessee is shot at the moment.

Bill's 150 line is about neg five and a half, but the problem is that doesn't quite get us to $10.

So I wanted to, I've got that there.

I wanted to know if you're allowed me to go a little more risque. - Hey, do you know what?

We, your mares will go for a $20 pop yourself, 'cause, We can't win anything anyway, so you guys will go for it.

Yeah, so look like there's one that I'm Semi semi semi canine and I wanted to go win its $4 so I might go it a place just to see how that goes Okay, so this could be your - Correct. - Correct.

So we're going to Corfield, we're going to race four.

Now there's a horse called two darn discreet.

It is pretty even race, 10 runners.

There's I think three or four within $6.

It's paying a dollar 50 a place.

That's two darn discreet.

It's paying 340 a win.

But if I go to the place, depending on where Buffalo sits, it gets us near the $10 mark.

So we've sort of got, I'm kind of, as I said, I'm torn.

We've got five there.

We'll go off-pod.

We'll do some 365 evaluation.

The Candyman even gave, you asked for four and a half last week, the Candyman gave you six and you still couldn't get there.

Hey, we lost by a point.

Yep.

As well.

Could you imagine, you forgot to that.

The Chicago, I'm sorry, the coming out, the comedy is the comedy.

The comedy is lost by seven and it gave me six.

It would have been like, that would have been the best.

Nothing won. - I know, because that's the wide thing, and we've been unlocking. - Yeah. - So that's our sort of areas. - Yeah. - So we'll post on the weekend, but yeah, that's sort of our areas.

I think commandeers are in, Melbourne, United are in, Ingrid orders in, and I'll sort something out between, I'll probably go bills. just to be safer and that god I don't like then what our intro is gonna sound like because I'm not gonna fear that is what is happening I actually don't know what is going on here my my lances getting a bit - I'm a bit excited. - That's a rock. - That will take us up to four.

Just shy of double digits. - Good, that's a rock, that's fine. - We might get some three, six, five. - Yeah, we'll have some over there. - We'll definitely have a look.

All right, here, I know there's been a bit, but I want you to, I kind of want you to lose your mind a little bit. - There's stuff you don't know that's actually happened as well.

So I'm sure you read what was in the bin, you would have gone, what the heck is that? - So I, can you do, well.

And in your biggest one what is the biggest one?

I don't know because start with your smallest one because I can't focus in rebal leading.

All right. (crowd talking) All right, we'll trade periods in the bin.

We've spoken about it 10 days.

This thing goes for 10 days.

How many trades did we do this week, Scott, compared to last week?

Alright, good.

I think last week we had a total of four trades.

This week there's about 30.

What is the point of that first week at all?

Why bother?

And on the last day...

You have to wait.

You can't lodge the trades on the last day till 5 p.m. because it's got to go on TV!

People are going to watch!

We're all going to tune in for the last 15 minutes to see absolute crap.

It goes back and forth.

There's people sitting there just there bored.

So, journals are spouting absolute rubbish, making crap up.

For no reason because they need something to talk about because it is boring as That crap is I actually on TV.

It's all they streamer.

Okay.

Yeah, it's on our website.

Yeah, I was gonna say channel seven of putting that on Anyway, so West Coast are in the bin what happened to the rebuild trade for 26 year olds.

Where are the youngsters?

What is happening there?

Barrier draws are in the bin.

Now this is threefold.

Some of this stuff is outrageous.

So firstly, the richest two and a half, oh sorry, mile and a half race in the world is the Corfield Cup.

This race has been going since 1897.

This shows you where Melbourne Victorian racing is, and where Sydney Racing is.

This is a massive race.

When there is a big race, when there's a great one, what normally happens? - Uh, the function, very-- - Don't even have to say anything more.

What do you think they did for the core field cup? - Don't tell me it was online or something. - Nothing!

They did nothing! - Don't they usually do it like after they waste the week before? - They did nothing?

That's the Melbourne Cup where they do that.

But they did nothing! - Yeah. - If you're an owner... of a call for couples you didn't get a function you didn't get a beer you got nothing i do that perth like just every hundred percent they do have a function pick the things out britney can stuff up the drawer again again that's nothing nothing right they can do box draws with the greyhounds.

No, they can't do box drawers at the Greyhounds.

The richest Greyhound race in the country is called the Million Dollar Chase.

They did the box drawers for the Million Dollar Chase at Wentworth Park after the heats last Saturday night.

You know how they do the Melbourne Cup and you pick up the cup and it's got your number eight?

They set up the boxes underneath these trophies to pick up.

If you're doing a public barrier draw or a box draw, what's the one thing you have to do?

Put the numbers on?

Make sure people were picking the numbers.

Can't see the numbers!

So the thing got drawn, people there was betting on this race.

Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo.

You actually need that, the protest button.

Oh yeah, yes.

Come Tuesday.

The box draw has been out for four days.

Racing NSW, Integre is doing some research into the integrity of the box drawer.

The box drawer had to get redone.

W.A. Zine Bizaki Box 2, Redraw Box-I. Million Dollar Chase, Richest Greyhound Race in the Country.

How to do a redraw?

No.

So probably box Correct.

Redraws.

Absolute redraw.

But now we're up to the Everest. $20 million race.

This is outrageous.

So they stop betting halfway through Tuesday so you can go to the Barry draw.

If you saw this on Twitter or you watched on thoroughbred central, you would have it would have blown your absolute mind.

They were at a circus.

They were at a circus.

It was like Hugh Jackman was standing there going, "This is the greatest show.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa."

There were cartwheelers, there were trapezers, there were spinning discs.

There were...

Beared ladies there was of it.

I'm just adding some mayo.

What's this for?

This is for the barrier draw for the twenty million dollar Everest so jolly star gets picked up a guy's doing a trapeze thing finishes dada number six goes up on the tent What is that?

Go on Twitter and watch something.

Well, I was watching.

I was talking to a friend of the podcast Roscoe.

I go, "What are we watching?"

And the positive, the owner's got to sit there and sink a bucket load of beers.

And then people are coming up.

How do you feel about barrier 12?

What did I just watch?

I don't know what barrier I am.

So they are doing a circus act to show the barrier.

The year before they did drives but at the circus I'll show you some stuff on Twitter it will blow your mind.

What is happening?

So we get nothing.

Can't do it. circus.

What happened to a let's go have a function and roll the barrel spin a wheel.

Oh my Lord.

The wheel was getting almost done.

All people want to do is go have beers and draw a barrier.

Unbelievable.

Eagles Nuffies are in the bin, massively in the bin.

Liam Baker came out today and the first thing questioning got to us, how are you feeling does it feel to be an eagle?

He goes off.

I know what I'm getting myself into when the fans are hamming you on Instagram on your DMs.

You know what you're coming out.

But he goes, "Ha, I get it.

It's all about the theatre.

I'm an AFL player.

I know what it's all about.

I'm putting a body on the line for the club."

Eagles' Nuffies.

This guy has done nothing.

He has done nothing.

He wants to come and play for you.

He has made you. trust him and give him the opportunity to show you what he can do and the Eagles Nuffies are hammering him on DMs and Instagram he hasn't even flown into the state yet he's just put a West Coast Eagles jumper on and you're hammering him do better it is not his fault I think we should try Milke might be able to sort that out for it This saying let's have a protest at Minra's Park.

Let's go down there.

I saw polls on Twitter I'm saying let's protest at Minra's Park who is in there was 385 votes 260 were in in the bin what is that?

Unbelievable - I understand what's going on. - Of me either.

And the biggest one, the biggest one, the AFL integrity units in the bid.

Now, we respect that things, the world has changed.

You can't do things anymore.

We have AFL-W, we have all sorts of stuff, and we can't do the things we used to do.

If that used to happen, I'm getting canceled.

Footy clubs across the world are getting canceled.

Ah, my name's Kosh.

He's getting canceled.

We're all getting canceled.

If you're at an end of season function and you are paying for a private function, you assume that that is a private function.

When a bartender who was not at said function reviews footage, he might not have been allowed to have access to, I don't know that, I'm just saying that, and reports it, It ruins lives.

Now we have players who are fighting for careers have got suspended.

We've got people getting fined For just being there.

Yeah, we've got people doing things they shouldn't do and I'm not condoning any of the actions they did, but If AFL House put themselves under that same scrutiny having their own private functions and their indices and stuff and they had some CTV footage, I wonder what we would see.

But my biggest issue is where is the AFL Player's Association?

Danger, you're the front of this organization.

You have a player. who OD'd and got taken to hospital 3am at a pub in public on game day.

Not even a sanction, not even a fine.

You came out in the media and said he made an error of judgement.

We put our arms around him and the next day you played the mental health card.

Where's the mental health card for a guy called Josh Farhi who's trying to save his job?

Where's the mental health card for him?

Why haven't you come out and at least said something?

All you got to do is just say something Back your players in they pay you they pay your wage they pay for the AFL P.A. To stand up and support the players the players have been thrown out to dry they've been named and shamed as for some instances They should be mine you but Where is your player's association?

If this was the construction union, the CFMEU, can you imagine what they would have done?

Do better.

I just don't understand how someone is allowed to review CCTV footage.

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to do that unless you think there's a breaking or something.

But I don't understand.

I mean, I said, I'm not condoning what happened.

Obviously, definitely not.

As I said to you, how would you be being a GWS woman's player coming out to play?

I said some other things, but that's okay.

Private functions are private functions.

Yeah, it's at the stage now where there's no more.

There's no more mock-up days.

There's no more wacky Wednesdays silly Sundays mad Mondays.

Terrible Tuesdays.

There's no skits.

You can't have fun.

You literally have to go home and do COVID times and sit on your zooms and get beers that way.

Because I understand where people say mad Mondays and that are dated.

100%.

There are ways now that this is going to change the landscape of basically professional sport in this country and what you can and can't do.

Because back in the day, you know, Sam Gilbert and Jimmy Bartell was a Sam Gilbert.

It was some Stevie Jaids.

St.

Stevie Skoolgirls.

Correct, I'm Ricki Nixon.

Yeah.

Nothing.

Listen, there was a lot back then.

It's on stand.

Tom's a child and I'm all for it.

Integrity unit can't be signaling out one club when Stangle OD's in season game day, nothing, and look in your own backyard because they're AFL execs who probably play up a bit more than just dressing up as Ray Gun and standing there.

Getting fined because you're a leader in the bin. - Yeah, touchy subject. - Anyway, let's not let it go. - I don't think it's that touchy. - That's right. - I think everyone's allowed an opinion. - Yeah. - But I just think if it's good enough for the players, where's the scrutiny on the execs? - Yeah, hey, if they're doing it, if all you need is someone to report it, but that would just be It just private function and reported by someone not there.

We're not all serious.

Let's take a breath and let's look.

Don't think I want a breath.

With something funny.

No, this isn't funny.

That's a surprise.

My horse will only come out of her stable after dark.

She's being a nightmare.

[BLANK_AUDIO] I told you it wasn't good.

Mine's not much better but we'll go with it.

I'm sweating.

That was a lot of happening there.

What did the chicken say when he walked into the library?

What am I doing here?

Oh, no, I'm bad.

Not bad.

Not bad.

Don't mind it.

Good.

Listen, okay, before you hit the button, there was, but I said, there was just so much.

Look at this.

You can see this page.

There is a lot happening.

I couldn't get it all out.

Probably a good thing I couldn't get all out.

But we're somehow there's a chat coming up next week.

Tomorrow night.

Tomorrow night.

We're working towards Lister party.

We don't know how it's going to look.

If you want to Lister party to happen, it's getting to the stage where we're going to have to get on bended knee and go, please help us.

But we believe it's going to happen somehow, some way, somewhere.

I bought the idea of the tab touch punters club, your table versus my table.

We need a lot of winners for that.

Yeah, we need it.

We don't need that much, but the chat JBT will help us out.

So if you like that idea, I've put it out to a few people.

They actually like the idea, but if you've got another idea that we could possibly do, let us know.

We just need some money and a venue and then we're sweet.

I'm just worried that 10 people are gonna rock.

Trust me, if I say free booze to the listeners, I'm gonna get 30 people there myself.

Well, that was a lot happening there.

I have to decompress for a little bit.

I think I need to finish this beer.

Too much talking, didn't even finish my beer.

I can't even say good luck.

I don't know.

We'll see you next week.

[ Silence ]
